Where will your twins be when you have the new baby (ies)

Just curious. Where will your twins be when you have the new baby? Do you plan on having them in the room? In the hospital? At home? Daycare?

 

Mine are going to come to the hospital with my mom. DH and I will be in the OR but I want them to be there when I come out. And, I can't wait for them to meet their brother! If I can't schedule the c-scetion for a Saturday (which actually would be on the girls' birthday - 11/17) then I will take them out of school for the day.

 

My twins stayed with my brother's family when I went in for Liam. Doug picked them up the day after Liam was born and brought them to see me and to meet him. It worked out for the best not planning on them coming the first day. I ended up having to go under general anesthesia and was a bit out of it that first day.

 

I will have a c/s, so as long as it happens on the scheduled day, the kids will be in daycare. If it happens on a weekend, they will probably be with one of dh's sisters. With Jax, the girls came to see us on the second day.

 

My twins will probably be with our babysitter (where they stay while I'm at work) and then I will have a family member go and get them after the birth so they can meet the new baby sister/brother. They will be under 3 at the time, so we won't have them in the room during the birth or anything.

 

I will be having a vaginal delivery if everything goes well. My parents live 4 miles away from us so they will have the twins when the new baby arrives. I suspect they'll be at the hospital IF I'm not in labor for long or shortly after the new one arrives.

 

My mom and dad will have them. They plan on keeping them for 1-2 weeks after the c-section. They are going to bring them to the hospital to meet their little sister!! I am so excited.

 

I have no idea where they will be! We are actually trying to figure that out!!!! Our families are 5.5 hours away, and as much as I'd like to think that things will go according to whatever plan I come up with, I know that this baby will throw us a curve ball!

 

My mom will be coming to get my three kids...thankfully she is 25 minutes away. She'll probably take them to her house for a few days....and bring them down to the hospital depending on how the timing of everything goes...(I'm going for vbac.)

 

LIkely at our house with grandma and grandpa. I can't imagine having them at the hospital. I can't wait for my stay so I get a little break! LOL. I just ope I don't go into labor in the middle of the night. That could prove problematic. Family is an hour away.

 

wow thats a good question I have no idea where they will be. My mom has seen every one of her grandchildren come out so I imagine she will want to be there. My older sister doesnt watch her own kids so I CANT see sending two toddlers with her. My younger sister acts as if it kills her to watch them. Even tho I watched her daughter for two years for free she'll probally try to charge me. His family hasnt really been in their life much so they wouldnt stay with them. They wont even get near them for anything they stick to me the whole time we are there. I guess I m gonna have to figure something out. The only person who really comes to mind is my best friend but I got some time to get it straighten out>
