I'm trying to find panties for the girls but everytime I find toddler panties, they start at a 2T/30 pounds and the girls are only 24 pounds. Anyone found any smaller than 2T? My mom keeps telling me about the adorable panties I had when I was totally out of diapers at 12 months but no one seems to make them that small anymore! Help!

I got some at our Target today that are for 26 pounds to I can't remember how high. They were Hanes brand. Not quite small enough for you, but maybe that would be close enough to work?

I would still get that size. It is nice to have them a bit bigger since they will be pulling them on and off by themselves. Hannah was tiny when she started with 2T panties and they were just right for her dexterity.

Try Carter's -- I know they have an outlet store and maybe are online, too. But you may be stuck with the droopy drawers look for a while! :icon_biggrin:

I found some I think by either Carter's or Gerber at Walmart that seemed a little smaller. My girl only weighs about 22 lbs right now & the 2T fit ok.....a little loose, but they're not falling down or anything.

PS - I meant to say the regular 2T are the ones that are a little loose. The other Carter's/Gerber ones that I found are smaller, but they're just plain flowers & stripes and she won't wear them. She definitely prefers the slightler looser Elmo ones.

I agree with Kate. If they are too snug she'll have a hard time pulling them up and down.

believe me, I have looked and have no found any either! My kids are small and the smallest size they make are way too big for my kids. I am forced to buy that size too and they sure make a mess when they have an accident! I am getting ready to potty train my dd and she is about 21 pounds (2.5 y/o) right now. the smallest size falls right off her unless seh has tight pants on to hold them up. Oh, that must be so comfortable for her!! I would love to know if anyone has found underwear in smaller sizes!

Our smallest are the DIsney/Elmo (Elmo ones slightly smaller) ones at Kohls/Target- they are 2T but are signifigantly smaller than other 2T ones I have. They also shrank a bit in Hot washing....I have a small DD as well, with NO hips or butt!!! Gymboree ones are in between Disney/Elmo and the Hanes/Targert/Walmart house brands.

You could always stitch them in a bit if they are falling off big and cut the stitch later!

T was very small as well. I bought her some of the 2T padded undies at JC Penney's. They worked really well for her, and there was not saggy butt.

I bought the 2T's at Target and Kohls (Dora, Princesses and Nemo). Meghan is only 25 lbs.

Gerber makes cotton training pants that are smaller. They're in the aisle at Target with the onesies, etc. HTH :)

My almost 3 year old only weighs 23 lbs and has no bottom to hold her pants up. I bought her 2T sized Elmo panties at Walmart and they seem to be fine for her (and are too small for her 28 lb twin).

Gymboree's undies are pretty small. Kenna has a bunch from there and they are the smallest ones on her. I also agree with whoever said disneys are great...those might be the tiniest yet now that I think about it..

Thanks for all the ideas! I hadn't thought about training pants vs. panties, but those look like they might be a better next step after the pull-up "panties" as my girls call them. Nice that they are available in 18 months too-24 month pants fall off the girls still.
