where to begin

mom is telling me how hard it is..
the kids dont listen unless they are out in public.

and it takes so much energy to take them out daily..

some times i think my get up and go ... got up and went..

my 3 year old has learned how to throw a fit. if mommy says NO!

AND MY KIDS HAVE LEARNED THE WORD NO AND USE IT DAILY..

ie come get your diaper changed.. NO ( then they laugh)
this irritates the daylights out of me.


i feel like i have lost controll.. and will never get it back..

they do sleep through the night .. but

both me and mom made the same mistake.. tryng to cook???

were both beat to HE!! .. and my next reprive is in 2 months thanksgiving..

please tell me im not alone and that there is something .. anything i can do to make my kids listen!!!

they are saying no to get a reaction out of you. do your best not to react. don't give them options about having diaper changed, just do it.

i know it's hard. my girls think no is hysterical. love to run away from me. don't listen. they think it's fun to get mommy upset.

 

:hug99: I am right there with you. DS does not listen for anything and tells me NO all day long. I agree with PP just don't give a reaction and don't give them the option of doing the things they HAVE to do or have done.

 

I absolutely agree with the PPs. Give no reaction and they should stop. Also, tell them when something needs to be done (like the diaper changing) don't give them an option. I had a habit of saying something and then adding "OK?" to the end of it. I had to break myself of this habit and let them know that there was no choice.
