We have out boys in a co-sleeper next to our bed and they are quickly outgrowing it. I try to get them to nap in their crib in their room but they just fuss and cry so I end up taking them out. For now the co-sleeper is working well as the boys eat every 2 hours on the dot through the night and Bfing them is easy when they are right there. However Makana did his first roll today - he went stomach to back twice!! and Im thinking soon the co-sleeper well not work out so well as he moves around more. I'm just curious what everyones twins sleeping arrangements are and for those of you BFing, when did your babies go longer than 2 hours at night? they also eat every 2 hours in the day so it's not like I can feed them more often. They are draining me!!!

Cant speak for the BFing but as for the sleeping arrangements the boys shared a crib in our room until they were about 4-5 months old and then we moved the better sleeper to the nursery in his own crib and kept the waker in our room for another month or so. It was about 6 months when they were both in separate cribs in the nursery.

My girls share a crib in my room, I have never had a problem. I bring whoever wakes to my bed to feed her then put her back in their crib. I feed on demand even at night.
My girls are still eating about every 3hrs at night.

My girls are 2 mo. today and up until a week ago they slept mostly in the PNP at night and occasionally in the swing, bouncer and carseat if they wouldn't settle down. Naps during the day were in the bouncer and swing and occasionally in the PNP. Last week we moved them to their crib except our one DD seemed much happier in the bouncer. So we have one in the crib and one in the boucer, both in their room. The 1st several days went well and then 2 really bad days and now we are doing good again. I will say consisteny is the key, I know it is hard but just give it a few days to a week and it will all work out. Good luck! I know there were many times I just wanted to give up but now that they are both in their room and sleeping fairly well I am so thankful I stuck with it!

At that point wherever they sleep so you can rest is fine. Mine rolled that early on too!. You can always bring a crib in your room and bumk them together.

well, they both slept in the co-sleeper for about 2 months until my husband got tired of me staying awake to stare at them all night. He simply cleaned out the babies' room one night and put each of them in their own crib. It took another month and a half before they started sleeping though the night, but since their room is so close it wasn't bad getting up to feed them at nighttime and I was able to get a few more winks. The first time they sleep though the night is one of the best feelings in the world!!

The girls slept together in the bassinet attachment of the pnp in our room until about 3-4 months and then we moved them into separate cribs in the nursery. This was for "overnight" sleeping (not that they slept thru!). During the day, they either slept together in a pnp in the living room, or in boppy pillows on the couch, their swings, their bouncy seats, the floor, etc. pretty much where-ever, whenever.

No advice on the bfing. Ours sleep in Jack's crib in their nursery and have been for a couple weeks now. Before that, they were in a pack n play in our room, but I think they sleep better in their room with the white noise machine going - no grown ups and dogs making noise and waking them up. I am considering separating them because Anna keeps turning herself upside down and waking up when Jack kicks her in the head. :)

During the day, they generally nap in their vibrating bouncy seats. They just stopped napping in their PNP one day, and I didn't fight it. Now that they are in daycare, they are starting to nap in cribs again.

As far as duration, we are doing pretty well now - down to one feeding a night. Last night, they ate at 6:45, were in bed by 7:30, up at 1:30 and up again at 5:00. Getting down to one feeding a night has made everything better for me! With the bfing, it will probably be longer, but they will get there! I can't wait until mine STTN!

    Hang in there! :hug99:

Our babies slept in our room in a PNP for three weeks - we then moved them to their own room in one crib. At 3 months, we separated them because they were squirming and waking each other up. (Hannah in particular). They now sleep and nap in their cribs. When we are at my mom's house on Tuesdays, Hannah naps in a twin bed with a bedrail and Emma naps in a bassinette (which she will soon be too big for!).

Your babies are probably still needing to eat that often, OMG-I hated that age (sorry) but I think I actually did go crazy when they were a month old!
At about 2 months old my twins went to their own room and their own cribs...we havent looked back since. None of us were getting any sleep what so ever. Now at 3 months they eat about every 4 hours(at night), I have been bottle feeding EBM so that my dh could help (and other reasons) but this was actually a life saver because like I said at one month old my babies were up every hour and a half to eat and I was only feeding the one that woke up and letting the other one sleep and then as soon as my head hit the pillow the other one wanted to eat-it was killing me!
Now when one wakes I wake the other and feed them both at the same time-put them back in their cribs-shut the door end of story. They dont even cry they just go back to sleep-yeah!!!!
Get through to three months and you will see BIG difference!
    Good luck!

Every three hours...during the day they sleep in the pac-n-play, on my lap, next to me on the sofa(if they are curled up next to my legs they will sleep....at night, one is normally with me on one sofa and the other baby with my hubby(lately my mom b/c she has been here). We plan on starting to work on getting them in their cribs. I really miss sleeping in my bed and being able to curl up next to my hubby :(
