Where do you feed them as they get bigger?

When I feed the girls on my own, at the same time, I feed them on the couch. One of them will sit in a boppy while the other one is in my lap (sitting on one leg while leaning their back on the other). It has been working out perfectly. Now that they are getting bigger I see that it is going to work so well very soon.

Where do you feed your babies their bottles as they get bigger? I don't want to use the bouncy chairs because I don't want them to associate them with food (make sense)?! [IMG]

Did anyone start using highchairs at this early age?

    Thanks

At that age, I put a blanket on the floor, and a regular bed pillow, layed them on opposite sides of the pillow, and fed them that way. At about 5-6 months, they were holding their own bottles, which makes life so much easier!! [IMG]

Hi T!!! I have been feeding mine together in their infant/toddler rockers since about 2 months. They don't associate it with food unless it's time to eat. I do however feed them their solids in their high chairs (which are those ones that attach to a chair). They love these chairs because they can sit up straight and after they eat they watch elmo's world for about 15 minutes in them with their sippy cups (not really drinking from them yet, but getting practice!).

    How's the new schedule going?

Mine still get bottles in their bouncies. They are only in them to eat and watch TV, but they don't assume they are going to eat if they see them. Give it a try and see what they do. I fed them in bed or in the rocker for a long time and the bouncies are definitely easier once they get wiggly.

I fed mine in their bouncy seats for a LONG time and they didn't have any problems associating it with food or play. BUT, if you decide to get highchairs, get the ones that recline and then, once they learn to hold their own bottles they can eat in there. Mine learned to hold their own bottles pretty early and this is what we did....

I put mine in their highchairs around 4 months when they ate solids. When they do both get bottles (not often because I'm nursing), I'll put two boppies on the floor next to each other and sit behind them.

My girls are 7 months and I've recently stopped breastfeeding and they eat in their bouncy seats. Have had no problems whatsoever with associating bouncy to food. Good luck!

We've been on the floor for a while now. One in a boppy, one in my arms.

If i'm feeding both at the same time they sit in there fisher price chairs (the ones that vibrate and can be turned into rockers) for bottles if its for baby food i like the bumbo seats.
