Where do you buy their clothes?

Hi girls!

I was wondering where you all buy your twins clothing? I usually shop at Target, Old Navy and whenever I hear of a big sale at one of the department stores (got great deals at Macy's last year)....but I am getting tired of the same old things! I can't really afford to go too upscale, like GAP or Childrens Place etc...but thought perhaps some of you would have ideas that I haven't thought of!!

I usually get our clothes at Target, JC Penney or consignment shops/ebay. Sometimes I will go to the Children's Place, but we have a lot of hand me downs from friends.

I had a pretty good Valentine's Day. DH got me a card...that was about it. I am a teacher, so I got a lot of little Valentines from the students. The twins made Grandmas and Grandpas valentine cards. It was really cute. Talk to you later!

We get hand me downs also, from 2 different friends, usually really nice stuff. If I buy stuff, its pretty much only off the sale/clearance racks or from a consignment shop. Children's Place usually has pretty good sales, especially the Outlet store near us, plus you still get to use their coupons if you can find some. I've gotten socks for $.12 each, really cute jeans and skirts for $4-5.99, and these adorable velour outfits for $2.99 per piece plus a 15-20% discount on top of the sale price.

I've also bought sale stuff for them at Target, Walmart, Pennys, Old Navy (if you hit the clearance isles there right, you can also get some really cheap stuff). Since they get so much handed down to them, plus stuff from Grandma's and their Aunt, I don't usually buy something unless its 2.99-7.99. The Walmart by their sitters will have end of season sales and I'll get things for $1-3.00. Last year I got them swimsuits and a few summer outfits for $1 a piece!! Can't beat that! Thats the only Walmart where I've ever seen items marked down that much though. I got their Easter dresses for this year there at the same time for $3 each.

If I see things really cheap like that, I'll buy a size or 2 bigger, whatever they have, and save it for when they grow into it. I just bought a 2-pack of 4t pj's at Kohls for $5.99.

Also, check Penny's for shoes. They usually have stride rites on their clearance table! You can usually get them for $7.99-16.99 on sale.

 

Awesome -- thank-you ladies! At least now I have some new ideas and places to look at! Unfortunately we don't get ANY hand-me downs as all my friends seem to have boys! We also have no family nearby (they live in Africa), so its few and far between that we get clothes mailed to us.

I am quite looking forward to doing some summer shopping for the girls now

My Valentines day was kinda quiet...my hubby went to watch some races in Daytona and I stayed home with the kiddies and ate chocolate

I buy the majority of the girls clothes at the local MoM's club sales 2x's a year. The girls are only grandchildren on DH's side so MIL spends lots of money on them too, she gets most of the clothes she buys them a Kohls -which on sale is not bad prices at all!

 

I buy tons of clothes whenever Children's Place has their $2.99 sale at the end of a season (it's $1.99 in the states). So that means I buy everything out of season but get tons of stuff. Actually I bought so much the first year I haven't had to get anything else recently!

I also go to Old Navy when there's a sale or good ol' Walmart, but I NEVER pay full price. I'm such a cheapy!

 

All of the boys ceom from M2m Sales, JCP and The Childrens Place. I have NEVER paid over 5.00 for anything at any of these places. At m2m sales I only buy items that are 1.00 a piece unless they are SUPER cute. JCP always has sales and I get everything reall really cheap unually under 4.00. and Childrens place. I just bought over 300 woth of clothes for next fall/winter for under 60 bucks. Everything I bought ranged from .99 to 4.99. I only buy clearence from stores if its under 5.00. And at the m2m sales I only buy if the clothes look new so no one can ever tell they are 2nd hand.

I look for each and every deal I cant find!
