Where do you buy pajamas?

Piper and Cricket just had a major growth spurt and have outgrown every single set of pajamas we own. I need to find some 4T or 4 pajamas quickly! I prefer to buy cotton pajamas or at least ones without the flame retardant chemicals on them, and have bought PJs in the past at Childrens Place and Costco (usually Carters brand), but that's about it.

Are there any other good places you'd recommend?

I buy lots of pj's from Target and Walmart. Or if I find myself around a Carter's store, then I'll stock up there too.

My two are also now at an age where sometimes they sleep in big t-shirts too. (But I also live in a warmer area and can get away with that.)

I try and stick to the Carter's brand PJ's. I find them at Kohl's, JCP and the Carter's store.

Target has two pack/two piece pajamas for $14.99. I don't remember what brand it is, but they fit Alice's skinny self pretty well, and I just stocked up on 4T.

Also, you can try the XS sizes now. Those are size 4-5.

Usually Carter's or Children's Place. I stocked up at Carter's 2 years ago when they were on sale for $3 each.

Kohls (carters brand), Target, or Childrens Place.

If you are looking for cotton--tight fitting rather than the loose flame retardant--Target has a Carters brand that is great. We also buy a lot from babyGap on clearance. And I love Hanna Andersen jammies, but they are too expensive to really buy in bulk.

Those are the ones we get! And they have some really disgustingly cutesy ones right now.

We saw some cute ones in Target. I actually prefer the looser, flame retardant ones because they seem easier for them to do themselves, but we still have a ton of the tight cotton ones.

They're not tight on A&R. I have two skinny kiddys.

Hmm. I wonder how they would fit mine in a 4T. We haven't bought any 4T pjs yet.

It seems like their clothes just get longer and longer, never any more wide. I buy the adjustable waist pants as often as possible because if I don't they look like capris. I finally tossed a pair of 24 month pants because I got tired of seeing the tops of Royce's socks.

Ya know, I seriously hope they stay this skinny. If there was a way to make sure that they not ever get overweight/obese like me, I would be so happy.

I get the tight (non flame-retardant) PJs from Old Navy. They have cute stuff, and it's always held up really well. Also sometimes get similar stuff from the babyGap outlet on clearance.

Old Navy, Target, Walmart, Children's Place...although in the summer time they sleep in underwear and a T-Shirt most of the time...I'm SO not spending the money on PJ's this summer (they have some from last year) that they can wear on PJ day at school!

I stock up on the Costco organic cotton ones, the price is fantastic on those and they last a long time.

During the warm months my kids sleep in whatever shorts and t-shirt they'll wear the next day. Usually Hanna Andersson bike shorts and cotton t. In the warmer months my girls sleep in Hanna cotton pjs or Green Cotton pjs. (Green Cotton is the brand. I bought about 12 pairs in various sizes a few years back when they were really cheap via a catalog.)

If you are worried about the flame retardents but don't want to spend a fortune you can always buy second hand pjs. I've heard that the FR washes out in 40 washes so you've already let someone else do that work! My eldest liked fleece footie pjs and I found it really easy to buy these used.

:good: I love the Carter's PJ's too. They seem to do the best with all the washing.

haha... we have a ton of "children sales" consignment sales where I live, PJs are the first thing I look for!!! $1 to $2 a pair. My kids look silly in pictures, b/c they are wearing Christmas and Halloween PJs all year long! I can't stand to pay big prices for new PJs. though I got some cute sets at after thanksgiving sale at JCPenney - they even came with a cute little silly Mask to fit the set. I bought a 3T and a set of 5T. hoping that they can wear the 3s until they will fit into the 5s...

anyway, the other places I go are like the rest of you said Target, Old Navy etc.
