Where did you get your bath tub seats?

I think I'm ready to transition the girls out of the Eurotub and into bathtub seats. Just wondering where to get the best kind.

At 9 months, you really don't have to use bathseats... I didn't. I ran very low water in the tub, and they sat and splashed, they LOVED it.

When I was using bathseats I got the safety first ones from walmart.

I have one safety first that hooks to the tub (walmart) and then I have an older one that just suctions to the bottome of tub (bought at consignment shop). My sister in law used a blow up bath tub that fits inside the regular tub, she said that she thought both of my babies would of fit in it. I am not comfortable just letting mine sit in the tub--I prefer the bath seats.

 

We have the safety first bath seats but don't use them. We just moved them out of the infant tub and have just been putting a towel on the bottom of the tub (so they don't slide) and letting them sit and play.

 

On Sunday we gave Wes and Leah their first "big" bath. We put down a towel in the bottom of the tub and put water in it. The water didn't even cover their legs when they were sitting. They loved playing with their ducks and bath books. It is also much easier to wash them in the big tub.

 

We still use bath seats that we got from Walmart. The ring kind. I feel a lot safer with the seats.

 

I can't find bath seats/rings ANYWHERE!!! BRU doesn't carry them, Wal-Mart doesn't carry them and neither does Target...

my children hate the bath with a firey burning passion...we put them in the big tub last night and it was all I could do to keep my son from climbing out while screaming like I was knifing him!

 

We got the kind that you can use alone or convert it to a tub seat for the bathtub. I never cared for it once we switched them to the tub because it was hard to actually reach the baby and it seemed like they were almost sitting on the side of the tub. My mom and SIL had the ring type that suctions to the bottom of the tub and gave them to us. I love them. Even at 16 months we still use them. Especially when I bathe them by myself, it makes me feel more comfortable that they aren't going to stand up as easily ever other minute. The rings give them freedom without being cumbersome. I don't know if they still sell them or not now. I haven't seen them at Walmart. I don't know about BRU.

 

we use the lay down seat like this they are really good for newborn, i will get the seat when they grow out of these ones.

 

I think bath rings are like walkers...they are considered unsafe because a few idiot parents who didn't use them correctly and left the baby unsupervised in a tub of water while using them. I am SO glad I have one left from my DS and one a friend gave us. I think they are awesome. It's a shame a few morons have given such a cool product a bad reputation and ruined it for the rest of us.

 

We never used them, since we could not find them anywhere (they don't make them without the attachable arm that sits on the side of the tub). Once they could sit up well on their own, we just switched to the bathtub.
