I have mine but I need 2 obviously, I do not like the shinny satin suits. Can you direct me to any on line sites?

    :thankyou:

I got mine from Strasburg Children. I found the ones I liked online and then called the outlet and had them shipped to me. It was ALOT cheaper that way! If you look at the store location list, the one in Lancaster, PA is an outlet. That's where I had mine sent from. HTH :)

We got ours from Strasburg as a shower present. A friend got hers from BRU - I guess some of their stores carry them, too.

We purchased the long gowns the boys came home from the hospital from a local children's boutique. We planned on using those gowns as the christening outfits. It didn't turn out that way, however. The boys stayed in the hospital for a little over two weeks and when they came home we really didn't want to get them out and around in public too much for fear of exposing them to cold and flu. By the time we felt comfortable getting them out settling on a christening date that all the family could accomodate was difficult. We set several dates and then found either aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. couldn't make it. Since the boys are the first children in our extended family everyone wanted to come and we tried to accomodate. It wasn't until July after they were born in February that everyone could make the christening and by then the gowns didn't fit. We just went to Dillards and bought solid white Feldman Brother outfits and white satin shoes. The boys looked adorable. My oldest daughter calls it "The Lion King lift", but when the minister lifted each boy in turn and presented them to the congregation I have never felt so emotional in my life. The boys christening photos are on line at the church website.

We're just getting the girls baptized this month (at 18 months) so I bought them shorter white eyelet dresses at Baby Gap.

But, at one point I did discover that they sell christening outfits on Walmart.com, and at a very good price. Check it out.

I went to a local antique shop and bought a beautiful older but not antique christening gown for my singleton. I bought a couple more and hung them around the room on pretty hangers. I also have my grandpa's old christening outfit hanging so that gave me the idea to "collect" them. I think I'll try to do the same for my girls when there baptism comes up next month. The cost was about $25.00.

They have outfits at JcPenny, too. We got shorts, short sleeve shirts, vests, and bow ties - very cute.
