I'm just wondering when it gets better. when will they learn to self sooth.....they will be happy in their jumpers for about 15 minutes then fuss.....then i put them on the floor and they are content there for 10 minutes and start fussing.. they are also fighting sleep like crazy!!! can be very frustrating.....talk to me please!!

Are they sitting up yet? I noticed a serious improvement in fussiness when they started sitting up on their own. They were better able to play with their toys, see the "world" around them, reach for things, etc. Around 5.5 months I noticed mine getting fussier - like they always had to be entertained and activities had to be frequently switched. They started sitting right at 7 months (they were also 35 weekers) and it made such a HUGE difference! :) Hang in there!

Oh, and as far as sleep goes - napping became much more regular also around 7 months for us. At 7ish months they began taking 2 regular naps each day - with both naps lasting at least 1 hour. It was wonderful! It will come for you, too!!

Hang in there. It can be very frustrating. At 6 months mine were still taking 3 naps a day. Is it possible that they are getting over-tired and therefore making it harder for them to get to sleep? Mine were right around 6 months when they started getting into a better routine for figuring out naps and such. When all else fails get out and go for a walk, go to Target, or take a drive.

Mine were playing together at 7 months really well. Hang in there it shouldn't be too soon. I would also suggest looking at their sleep schedule to make sure they are not overtired .

you just described my weekend (minus the jumper). i was hoping they'd be growing out of this soon but it looks like i've got more fussiness ahead of me!

I right there with you at 6 months. Mine are fussy. They can't roll over yet and constantly want to be put in a different position. this last about 5 minutes. i run out of things to do by 2 pm. hanging in there....

Mine were born at 32.5 weeks, and up until 6 months, things were tough...I started to notice a huge improvement after 6 months, so I'm guessing you'll see some big changes in the coming weeks. Mine starting sitting up around 8 months, and it has made things easier...hang in there, thing are getting better (and more fun in my opinion).

Thanks for all the responses. They are trying hard to sit up so maybe "getting less fussy" is just around the corner!!
