When you take just one baby out with you

Okay so I have been meaning to ask this question for quite some time just haven't had the time I guess....I was wondering, do you have a single stroller and a double stroller?? I bought a cheapo umbrella stroller for when I take one baby out with me and leave the other home. I am thinking about buying a nicer one with a storage basket, drink holder etc. I hate the umbrella stroller I have and Kelsey doesn't seem to comfortable in it. If you also have a single stroller, which one??

Yes, we have a single and a double stroller only because one of my girls has to go to PT, and the helmet clinic once a week and I hate having to drag her sister there. The stroller we bought was cheap...I love it more than my double. Here is the stroller. It has a huge basket, shade and two cup holders. It also comes with a tray for the baby with cup holders.

 

I only have the doubles. It's very, very rare that I only have 1 child. I usually have 2 or 0.

 

Same here. Although I do have a Graco single stroller from my older DD but it never gets used anymore.

 

Once they were old enough for umbrella strollers, I had two of those. Often if my husband & I were both going to be out with them, we took those because they were so much more manageable with each of us taking one. And if I went somewhere with just one (which, even now, is extremely rare) I would just take one of the umbrella strollers.

 

I never go with just one baby, I don't think I've ever left the house with just one baby!

I do have a cheapie umbrella with a canopy from my older kids I could theoretically use, although I doubt I'd ever have to use it, I usually have all 4 kids in tow when I leave the house!

 

I would advise getting a single from a garage sale/craigslist since you wont use it as much. We use our single Graco Quatro tour for now because my sons are too small for even the double and I hate putting them in the carseats just to walk around the neighborhood. I really like pushing two babies in a small stroller so I could see it being a PITA to push 1 child in the larger stroller.

 

I've never been out with just one baby! I plan to maybe get just a cheap umbrella in the event it does happen, but for now, we just have a double.

 

We have 2 cheap unbrella strollers, i haven't been out with just 1 baby before and taken it but if i had to i would just use it.

i just use my regular stroller (which is a phil & teds so its not bulky) or i put the baby in a sling or beco baby carrier

 

We just got the cheapo umbrella strollers from Target. We actually use those sometimes when we go out if we don't want the huge twin stroller and we each take one. I see what you mean without all the nice features of an actual stroller though. I definitely can't see either of them being comfortable enough to sleep in them.
