When will they walk?!

I have posted a topic like this before, but I'm starting to get a little worried.

The twins are 14 months old now and they still arnt even attempting to walk.
they seem happy enough crawling around, Piper pulls herself up onto the furnature but will just stand there until she wants to crawl to something else.

is there somthing wrong here?

 

My DS has been walking for 2 months. DD is like your babies, happy to crawl. She does pull up and cruise but does not let go. At 12 month appt., pedi said walking is in normal age range if it happens by 15 months.

 

One of my twins didn't walk until 19 months. Our ped. said to bring him back in if he didn't walk by 20 months.

 

Jessy didn't walk until 15 3/4 months. For the longest she just cruised but she has finally now started walking. She was also slow on her other milestones(sitting, rolling crawling). They were 6 weeks early

 

I have always heard the range for walking is 9-18 months, so yours still have some time. I know it's not easy waiting for them to walk, I'm waiting for mine to walk too. Hang in there, it will happen.

 

My boys walked at 16 months. There is nothing wrong with your girls! It just takes some babies longer than others - there is a wide range of time for that. I think being born early is a factor also.

Zachary started walking at 15 1/2 months (Lauren at 12). The pedi said that a big part was his personality-he's very laid back. He was perfectly happy with crawling & would walk when he was ready.

 

Danielle didn't walk until 17 months and Nicole until 19 months. They also didn't crawl until late.. Danielle at 11 1/2 months and Nicole at 12 1/2 months. But once they started walking there was no stopping them!

i know!! i swear mine are going to crawl to kindergarten
they will be 15 months on the 2nd and they have been standing/cruising since around 8 months! They have been standing without assistance or pulling up on something for about a month now. They will just stand up in the middle of the floor and drink their cup or laugh, but no one walks!

 

I have one that starting walking at 13m2w adn the other 14m but the 13m walker is now a runner and the 14m walker still cant walk very far with out falling.

 

Josh started walking at 15 months and Nate at 17 months. I wouldn't worry.

Actually - I just turned around and saw them running around, tearing stuff up. Be HAPPY they aren't walking!!!!!

 

I had one walk at 11 months and the other not until 22 months! There's no telling the difference now, so try not to worry.

It's so hard not to worry! Mine didn't walk until 18 months. You are well within the normal range still as posted above. If by 20 months they still are not I would check in with your pedi. But I am sure they will by then!!

Now mine do not do anything but run. sigh.

 

Its hard to be happy that they arnt walking, even if when they can walk i know i will be wishing they still couldnt.

I cant wait, there's no change in the girls yet, I will keep you all updated and when the day finally come's you'll all know haha.
