When will other people be able to tell?

If your twin pregnancy was your first pregnancy, when did you start "showing"? I don't want to be huge yet, but it would be nice if people could tell. I'm already tired of hearing, "You don't even look pregnant. Are you sure there are two in there?" I'm sure I'll get tired of hearing, "You look huge" too, but at this point, I wonder when that will be. I'm a fairly small person pre-pregnancy (5'4", 125 pounds, size 6 clothes), so I really thought I'd be showing by now. I'm still wearing my regular clothes. I can definitely tell when I'm not wearing clothes, but you can't tell at all when I am dressed. I have gained 2 pounds so far. I know this is stupid. I should just be thankful that things are going well with the pregnancy. I guess I keep thinking that I should have something to show for the 2.5 years of infertility treatments and the awful morning sickness I've had. Thanks for "listening."

I think it was right around where you are now. I think I was wearing Belly Bands with my regular pants at about 8 wks and regular maternity pants by 12-13 weeks, although I wasn't really showing a lot yet, my clothes were just getting uncomfortable. I only gained 2 pounds I think in the first 3 months and I started stressing because I didn't know how I would be able to pack on the 40+ pounds the dr. said I should, but lo and behold, I didn't have a problem in the end...I gained 53 pounds by the time they were born. I'd say look out, any day now you'll probably started "popping out"!!

I am not showing either at 11 weeks. I am bummed. I even lost 3 pounds.

No one (except for people that I knew) could even tell I was pregnant with my twins until I was about 20 weeks along. I went to a friends baby shower at 16 weeks (in maternity clothes b/c I couldn't wear regular anymore) and they were ALL shocked to find out I was pregnant AND carrying twins. They thought there was no way! I was 5'9" and 158 when I got pregnant...so I think the height really helped me out! You'll be showing soon enough!

I really didn't start showing until somewhere around 16 weeks (and I could still hide it if I really wanted to)...by 20 weeks, it was no longer possible to hide anymore. Don't worry...you'll be showing soon!

I am 5'9" and weighed 150lb pre-preggo, I have a long torso. I didn't REALLY show until about 18 weeks. Even then if you didn't know me, you might have just though I was a bit chubby. About 22 weeks I popped and now you definitely know I am pregnant. Although I still get you can't be having two.....everyone is different. Just focus on wearing comfortable clothes.

This is my first pregnancy and I started to show around 15 weeks or so, I think I really "popped" at 20 weeks. Im a little taller than you, Im 5'8" but I too was a size 6 pre-pregnancy. I could not wait to start showing, and now I just feel HUGE and I still have a long way to go and a lot bigger to get...

This is my first pregnancy, too, and I am a small person (5'5", normally 113 lbs), and people couldn't tell I was pregnant *at all* till about 15 weeks along -- and even then it was more just that I looked like I had a spare tire, not a preggo belly! For me, I think I started to look truly pregnant at about 18-19 weeks and started to wear maternity pants at 20-21 weeks (which are SO much more comfortable than pre-preg jeans with a bella band!! No comparison!)! Shirts I started wearing much sooner though.

The wait is hard, but it'll happen!

This is my first pregnancy too and I started showing around 15 or 16 weeks. For me, it was like, one day the belly was just there. Now, there is no way I could possibly hide my pregnancy! Trust me, you will show soon enough. I wondered the same thing early on in the pregnancy.

With a 1st time pregnancy it takes awhile for some people to show. Also if you've had bad m/s it can cause you to lose weight thus making it harder to show early.

This is my first pg. I started wearing maternity clothes at 17.5 weeks and started showing around 18 weeks, although slightly. I was definitely showing by 20. Before you start to show you'll be thicker around the middle first. HTH :).

My breasts looked pregnant before the rest of me! They 'popped' very quickly. j/k. I didn't start to look pregnanty until 18 weeks.

I did not look very pregnant either until 18 weeks then I started wearing maternity clothing. I really popped at around 26 weeks and have been huge ever since. Now people ask me when the 'baby' is coming out and I tell them it is twins and they are like oh okay. I guess I look like I am about to deliver. I am already measuring 40 weeks pregnant (that was at my 30 week appt.) Trust me you will get huge soon enough.
