I have 2 months to go until my scheduled C-section (March 3rd). My twins are both breech and have been for quite some time! I have been hearing a lot about moms who have delivered by now in their pregnancy and I am starting to get nervous! I have been having mild contractions but no cervical change. I am curious to know when different moms delivered and their birth stories... maybe this will put me at ease or maybe not! It is more curiosity at this point. Thanks!

Mine were born at 35 weeks + 6 days. I was going to the dr. twice a week and doing NSTs twice a week by this time. I had a visit on a Monday and returned Thursday to find I was dilated to a 3 and having contractions (I did not feel them). The dr. felt that since I had progessed so much in just three days it was time to do the c-section. Baby A stayed 3 days in the hospital and Baby B stayed 7 due to some fluid in the lungs, jaundice and weight gain.

Mine came at 36 weeks 2 days, though I was worried my entire pregnancy they would come too early. No real reason, I had an uneventful pregnancy until the end. I was just too scared to believe and jinx that we would finally have 2 babies, after everything we went through to get there. I was scheduled to be induced because I developed pre-eclampsia that was discovered at my 36 week appt, but while in the hospital waiting for my c-section the next morning, I went into labor on my own anyway, so it needed to be moved up. I think my body knew I had to get the babies out at that point.

Good luck to you. It sounds like everything is going great, and you don't have much longer to go!

I had mine at 36w3d. I had LOTS of BH contractions, I was no terbutaline from 28-36 weeks ... and then delivered 3 days after I finished it. I was nervous the entire time that I was going to deliver early ... but for all my contractions, I never had any cervical change ...

I see you are pregnant with triplets, and you are carrying them for your sister! That is a beautiful thing you are doing and I wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy!!

Mine were born at 34w 6d when my water broke and I had a c-section. They were both transverse the entire time and I was scheduled for a c-section at 38 weeks. I had a very uneventful pregnancy with no NST's or cervix checks. They spent a week in the NICU and then came home together.

This was me, too. I had only been dilated a fingertip for about a month, but woke up on New Years Eve morning and was contracting (thought it was just Braxton-Hicks). I think I went into labor because I had taught up to my Christmas Break (33 weeks) and wasn't resting properly. I wish I had taken more time off!!

My boys were born at 36 weeks one day. My scheduled c-section was for 38 weeks, but I went into labor on my own before that. My pregnancy was uneventful until the very end when they atarted watching me closer for pre-e but I ended up delivering before anything really developed. Both boys left the hospital with me after 3 days. They never left my side from the time they were born.

My boys were born at 35 weeks. I was in the worst pain I had ever felt so I went to the ER. Next thing I know I was on the table giving birth. :D

My boys were born at 36 weeks two days. My pregnancy was uneventful until the end, but my OB thought it would be better to deliver that day because Baby B was having fluid issues .I had a c-section because both of them were breech. Both boys left the hospital with me.

So exciting for you! I remember feeling the exact same way! I had my girls at 34w5d because of pre-eclampsia. I had BH contractions for about the last 5 weeks of pregnancy and my cervix shortened off and on starting from 23 weeks, so you are doing GREAT!! My girls were breech and transverse for most of my pregnancy, then went to breech and head down, then finally about a week before delivery, they both went head down and I was able to deliver vaginally.

Get lots of rest, that will help keep those babies growing in Mommy for a while longer! Keep up the great work!

These stories are great! Altho i want to bake these babies for as long as I can, I want them to come about 36 wks tho! :D

I've been having BH since about 19 wks but no cervical change, so far bp is good and babies are in the 60+%! My fear is having HUGE babies! My ds was 5 lbs 13 oz at 36 wks (they said he would have been around 9 lbs if he went to term), and my dd was 9 lbs 12 oz at 39 wks, so I'm terrifed to carry these babies too long and have two 9 lb babies!

Oh and no GD with either of my pregnancies, I just make big babies! :D

My girls were born at 36 weeks due to the onset of pre-e. My doc decided that the risks were higher with pre-e than with delivery a few weeks early. I was scheduled for a c-section at 38 weeks. Both girls were over 5 lbs and both came home with me 3 days later.

Almost the same story as above. But my water broke 35 weeks 3 days and was dilated to 3 and going in to NST like pp. Babies were head down and footling breech but was able to do vaginally. Baby b kept changing positions up until the last day! So there is still hope! They were born 5.7 and 5.9 and baby a had to go to nicu for a couple hours due to respirtory issues but came to be in recovery. Baby B had blood sugar issues for a few hours but was ok. Their jaundice was a big issue for the first days of life but had them on billiblankets at home and they are getting over it. They both at now over 6lbs each and are eating 2oz!

I was like you and wanted them out due to so much prelabor pains but honestly once they were here I wished I could have gone longer to make them more healthy! hey are healthy but it was hard have them so small and jaundice issues as well as not wanting to eat. I have been so paranoid because they are so small and just wished i would have not wanted them to hurry up! i guess the body will deliver them when ready! i have big babies too but since there are were two in there, they will be smaller in general. plus you never know when they decide to come! good luck and just be patient! they will be here before you know it!

Mine were born at 37w5d. I'd spent 9 weeks on bedrest for PTL, and had trips to the hospital 3 times where I got shots of terbutaline. Then I ended up being induced. My OB didn't want them to go past 38 weeks because of increased mortality rates in twins, after that point. But there was such a huge difference in size at that point that they wouldn't have let me go longer, anyway. Sabrina (baby B) hadn't really gained any weight in the last month. So they were born vaginally and weighed 7#9 and 5#3. They went home with me the next day. Sabrina did have some eating issues, but it all worked out and they're happy and healthy!

I know I am trying soooo hard to be patient and let them cook as long as they can! But I"m so big and miserable already I can't imagine going too long. At 26 wks I was measuring at full term for a singleton already, I can't imagine another 10 wks!

    Patience...I know patience.... :D

Mine were born just a little before 37 weeks. I had been vomitting and was just feeling bad generally and it looked from blood tests like I might have been developing pre-eclampsia, so I was induced. Things went VERY smoothly. My babies were born on Tuesday and came home on Friday.

    Good luck,
    Kirsten

Mine where born at 37 weeks and 6 days and I would have gone longer but I begged my dr. to induce me so he finally agreed. I had an uneventfull pregnancy and an easy vaginal birth.

We had a scheduled c-section at 38 weeks and 1 day. My doctor would not let me go longer then 38 weeks, though I think they could have been in there longer. We had a c-section because baby A was breech. Good luck!

I had mine via scheduled c-section at 36 weeks 6 days. Baby A was breech and B was transverse. I was huge and had been contracting like crazy for weeks (with no cervical change). After looking and sounding quite pitiful at my 35 week appt they had me do a lung maturity amnio at my 36 week appt (came back good) and scheduled me for the day before Thanksgiving (the first day my Peri was back from vacation). C-section went fine and DS was 6 lbs 2 oz and DD was 6 lbs 5 oz. No NICU time. Their Apgars were 8 at 1 min and 9 at 5 min. Good luck!!

My boys were born at 36w6d. My water broke and then I had my c-section a few hours later. My boys were both head down, but I had a c-section b/c my oldest DS was a c-section. I did not go into labor and my cervix never dialated. I was watched closely from 31 weeks on (2-3 times a week NST and u/s) because I had a large growth discordance with mono/di boys. I was so nervous they would take them early, but they kept passing their tests and came on their own in the end. By the way, the last few weeks were beyond awful for me. I couldn't even walk on my own b/c Owen was engaged already. It was really bad, but I'm so glad I suffered through it and they came out healthy. good luck!

My boys were induced at 39 weeks, i could have gone longer but i was just done. I had been on bed rest for ten weeks, then taken off at 36 weeks expecting to go into labor. I was also having some mild contractions, but nothing. So by 39 weeks i talked my Dr. into inducing and i was able to have a vaginal delivery with both of them. If your not having any cervical change you could easily keep going.

C-section at 38 weeks due to my complete miserableness...I think they would have stayed in till 42 weeks plus....
We went in to be induced, but he then did an ultrasound and said I had a 50/50 chance of an emergency c-section after a vaginal birth due to baby B's position. NO SIR! I had worried about baby B and her IUGR for too long already, so we had a c-section. Perfectly healthy babies 5.7 and 6.10 who came out breastfeeding wonderfully. We all went home 2 days later on Thanksgiving ( to my mother-in-laws house for thanksgiving dinner) We went home 10 hours later...

    KEEP THOSE BABIES IN!!!!

Induced at 38W6D; had them by c-section at 39 weeks exactly when the induction didn't work. I was induced for moderately high BP that wasn't dropping enough with rest. I think they would have camped out another week or two if we hadn't forcibly evicted them.

Might not be much help to you, I had an emergency c-section at 29 weeks 2 days. I had mono/mono twins and was on 24/7 monitoring when one of the baby's heart rate started to drop and not recover. I was supposed to have a c-section at 32 weeks.

I delivered my first daughter at 24w 1d - but that was unexpected premature labor, they believe caused by IC.

I delivered my son at 35w 6d - day my cerclage was removed due to IC, I had been 1cm for 13 weeks, water manually broken at the hospital.

I delivered my twins at 35w 5d - the day before my preventive cerclage was to be removed for IC. My water broke at home.
