    hi again
my babies are two weeks old and I felt like lastnight they needed more formula.. I am feeding them ready to feed 3oz bottles.. my husband lastnight gave him one more oz and he slept better.. wasnt sure if they are too little for that much formula.. and my little girl was fussing lastnight right after I fed her and she ate 3oz and was still eating her hands but afraid she would spit up alot if I gave her more.
    any suggestions?
    thanks!

I think you can feed them as much as they will take. They will stop when they are full. Maybe they are going through a grow spurt.

I would try and up the oz, maybe by a 1/2 oz. And if they are tolerating it, and not spitting it all back at you, try a little more.

It sounds like it may be time for more. When mine would finish the whole bottle, the next feeding I would up it one oz. Good Luck! :icon_biggrin:

I would up mine a half oz at a time and when they would finish that without barfing it up I'd up a little more...

I found that mine would eat until they spit up so I increased gradually

If mine were emptying their bottles a few feedings in a row then the next time I would put another ounce in. If they didn't take it that was fine but if they did then I made all their bottles with the increased amount until the whole cycle began again. Kyle was taking 8 ounces when he was about 2 months old but Kayla never got above 7 ounces the entire year she was getting a bottle.

If they are still hungry after a feeding, then give a little more.

My friend has a 5 week old who ate 6 ounces last night!!!
