    Hello everyone,
I was just curious as to when everyone started or plans on starting maternity leave. I'm 27 weeks now and originally I was thinking that if I took mine at the end of July, which would be week 34, that would be great. However, now I am starting to get really exhausted and can barely focus or sit still while at work. I am a court reporter and don't have the option to get up and walk around or take frequent breaks.
The doctor told me it's totally up to me but I would like some help deciding since I don't want to go too early. Please help!!
    Thanks

Hi, I felt the same way and just started working from home this week on modified bedrest. I feel a whole lot better just not having to jump out of bed and wear dressy clothes all day. I don't know if working from home is an option for you though. I am enjoying my first week in the recliner, so I would say, if you can afford it, go for it! :)

Since I am a reporter I do typing as my own business on top of work. So, I could always type from home to still have that extra income and not have to worry about getting up early and not having a break when I need one.

Yeah I have been getting up around 6. (thats when the babies want to eat) Then I am online about 7-3, then take a nap, then a quick shower so I am not a bum when hubby gets home.

With my twins, I started working from home full time at 29 weeks, and went out on leave at 34 weeks, then had the babies at 36w3d.

This time around, I'm currently working from home 3 days a week, in the office 2 days ... and I'm going out at 32 weeks ... I want a little more time before they arrive in case they come early again.

It's a crapshoot ... you may wait a while, and they come soon after ... you may go out early, and they don't show up till 38!
