We didn't remove night time bottles until 15months since the boys were having a hard time transitioning with a new baby. While needless to say the night time bottle was just replaced with a night time sippie cup of milk. When did you take your twins completly off of night time milk? I feel like I shouldn't be giving them sippies at bed time, but it's truly the only way they will go to sleep, without an hour+ of crying. Should I replace the milk with water? Or just take them away all together? When did you get raid of bottles/sippies completely?

Sorry, I'm no help with this one ... mine are 3 and still have them at night. I WAS able to get them to go to sleep without them, its just the waking up at 2 a.m. without one that I'm having the problem with.

I got rid of the bottle and milk before bed all at the same time (12.5 months). If they occasionally fuss before bed, we do give them a sippy of water and it helps.

We gave up the bedtime bottle at 16 months and since then they get a sippy of milk before bed.

Even my oldest DD gets a small glass of milk before bed. So I don't know if we will ever give it up, it's part of their bedtime routine. This is all before bed. They do not get any milk once they are in bed or in the middle of the night.

Why do you feel you need to give it up?
