When to start half formula/half milk?

At what age did everyone start mixing in milk with the formula?

 

We are on the early end..our ped recommended 9 months. They were completely switched over in a week. I think most peds recommend 11-12 months.

 

I never mixed whole milk with formula. After we got the okay at 12 months, we gave them straight milk out of their sippys and formula out of the bottle..

Alot of Doctors and Pedi's say you don't have to do the half and half. I didn't. I switched my guys cold turkey at 11 months.

 

just started half and half. wIll be on full milk by end of week when formula runs out. I know lots of people who have done it both ways... cold turkey and half and half

 

My pedi said no whole milk until 1yo. So, we are waiting to go half and half until near their birthday and then cold turkey from there.

 

At 11.5 months I started adding a few ounces of milk and it only took two weeks..they were also allergic to milk and soy and I had no problem. By 13m they were off the bottle, straight out of the fridge.

 

We did not introduce any milk until 12 months, per the pedi. At that point I just went cold turkey with milk in the sippies, no mixing.

 

As per pedi, we went straight to whole milk at 10 months but if your kids care about the difference you might want to move slowly by mixing otherwise I'd just go cold turkey.
