My twins absolutely LOVE Baby Einstein. We have seen ads for Little Einstein and we are wondering when we should buy them. Are they good for 14-15 month olds? When did you get the Little Einsteins?

I didn't buy them, but I TiVo them now. Didn't start until about two years, though. They love them, but I think 14-15 months would be too early to follow the plot. They might like the music though.

My girls are nearly 4 and they only became inerested in them around 3 1/2, though I think it's also because they STILL enjoy their Baby Einsteins. They can sing the theme song and sometimes (between the 2 of them) quote a whole episode!! [IMG]

My kids have just recently started to watch this in the mornings. It holds Hannah's attention better than it holds Ben attention. And like a pp mentioned, since they are on the Disney channel, you can just record them.

We let our kids watch little einstein around 12-14 months and my dd really took to it while my ds didn't really care for it. It's my dd favorite show and she constantly asks to watch it. We got her a plush rocket ship which she carries around and shouts blast off.

I've had Little Einsteins on in the background while we play from 12 months. They really don't watch the whole time but love to dance to the clasical music. The other thing that they have picked up on is when rocket 'blasts off', to rev up the engines they pat-pat-pat their laps then raise their hands and yell 'blast-off'. Well, that is a daily ritual around here. Here is a pic of Cole blasting off.

If you get the Disney Channel, I would do like others, just tape it.

Our kids also enjoy Little Einsteins. Too bad I can never remember when they are on. We don't have TIVO.

Ainsley and Sierra became interested in them around 2.5 years old. I tried to keep them away from cartoons before that because I preferred that they watch live action. I think it would be too advanced for 14-15 months old. Mine still loved Baby Einstein at that age and for a while afterwards.

Mine like Little Einsteins as well. They love to "clap and pat" when rocket is about to take off! [IMG]

We've been watching Baby Einstein and Barney for awhile now. The boys watch Little Einsteins during their morning bottle and seem to really enjoy it. Jackson has started pat-pat-pat w/his hands along w/the characters. The only other shows we "watch" are Wiggles and Higgly Town Heros.

We've been watching Little Einsteins for quite awhile now. DH and went away for a weekend when N & G were 4 months old. The first night, before we went to bed, we called to check in. My MIL, who was watching the babies, said they were doing great and that they "loved Seinfeld and The West Wing." [IMG] I actually had to pass the phone off to DH because I was so irritated that she had plopped them in front of the tv. DH tried to calmly explain to her that we didn't want them watching tv yet and certainly not adult programming. So, the next night when we called, MIL was so excited to tell us that she found "appropriate" tv for the babies... Little Einsteins. We still laugh about how she missed the message... but I guess she was trying. In any case, that was the beginning of the Little Einsteins in our house. Around a year, N & G really started to like it and pat along with the show. It's still pretty much the only show that will keep their attention.

There are a few movies and a few dvds with multiple shows on them if you are looking to purchase an actual dvd. We tivo, but we do have one of the movies... Big/Huge Adventure, or something like that.

Mine have been watching this show ever since it started and they've always enjoyed it. They LOVE the opening song and really just enjoy the music in it. They still don't get any plots. They just enjoy the music. I say expose them. Amber has been doing her hands like a conductor ever since this show began. I can only assume she got it from Leo since no one else does it.
