and imitating you, do you cringe or laugh? I hear Natalie's sweet little voice behind me: sa down Sa Downnn SAH DOWNNNN SAH!! DOWNN!! I turn around and she is putting her baby in it's stroller  :rotflmbo:

What can I say, getting her in her stroller or car seat are not the idyllic moments of Mommyhood I pictured!!

That is so sweet. I love watching kids imitate adults. We bought the boys Cabbage Patch dolls for Christmas before their little brother came along hoping to "break" them in, so to speak. Well, they would hold the baby and then throw the baby on the ground. They haven't touched the babies since. Girls are more nurturing and gentle when it comes to baby dolls. So cute!!

Yes, it helps me recognize the bad things I do and say!! (Ok, not so BAD but things I could do better and words I could change)

Uh, Gracie likes to put her babies in timeout and tell them "no biting, be nice". They will also pile 6-8 babies in their stroller, like they want me to work on sextuplets next so we can be like Jon & Kate.

    That is too cute!!

I never realized how many times I give out an exasperated sigh until one of my girls started mimicking me everytime I do it.

Yep, love hearing "Go in time out right now!" The other things are funny though, Bea kept saying "That's so cute!" and now both of them say "No making excuses!" and tell each other not to make excuses, although it's clear they don't really know what that means.

I completely agree with this. When I hear my own words and I think, uugh, do I say that?, then I need to work on that. Usually I just laugh, at them and myself!

I also like it when they scold each other (using my language, of course): "sit down, sissy!!!" or "be nice, sissy!!" or "it's my turn now, sissy!!" or "no ma'am, sissy!!"

    Too funny!

I fear I may have scarred my girls for life!

We apparently have a habit when changing the girls of saying "Eeeewww!" if they're stinky...

Now they take their babies and lay them on their backs and lift up the legs and go "Eeewww!!" The first time I figured out what they were doing I about died laughing!

mine say to their dolls, to each other, to Grammy, "that's not and opt-shee-un" (option). "When you play like this, that's not an optsheeun. You have to play like this" and they go on to explain the new rules in some sort of muddled lack of logic.
