I quit breastfeeding about 2 months ago. I started my first period at the beginning of March. It is now the middle of April, and no period. IS this normal to be late or should I be completely FREAKING out? I can't remember if it takes a while to get back to normal.

    THANK YOU

I think it's pretty normal to have wacky periods until your hormones even out, especially after breastfeeding.

Mine took about 2.5 months after I quit breast feeding, At one point I thought is was coming and then it still was another month.

With my 1st dtr it took a few months after I stoped to return. With these guys I'm still BF and it's back! That's supposed to be one of the joys of BF!

Mine was weird too. I got it 1 month after I quit BF and it was super light. Then the next month it was a little late but heavy and lasted 8 days. I hope it goes back to normal soon.

Hi....I am not a BF mommy but my twins are 6 months old and I have only had a super light one this last week...so it has taken 6 months to get AF back and even then I'm not really sure it's the real thing. I guess I'll find out in the next couple of months. I thought AF would show up earlier as I FF...weird!

Mine took two months to return after weaning. Any chance you could be pregnant? I could say no (to my husband's dismay )
