I had my 26 week appt. today and forgot to ask if and when I will be getting the NSTs. Should I be having them now? I've had no issues so far. She did tell me that I will start going every 2 weeks to see her now. Just curious. Thanks!

I think my weekly appts which also included NSTs started at 30 weeks. I hated them, it was mainly because the commute to my ob.

I started mine at 30 weeks; 1x per week, then at 32 weeks I'll go 2x per week. I have a toddler, too, so it's pretty relaxing....good luck!

I started at 29 weeks 2x a week but that's because I developed a weird funky bile thing in my blood. I was also on bed rest, so I enjoyed getting out of the house.

I started having one test a week at 28 weeks. I think I started having two test a week right before I delivered them at 34 weeks.

    Every doc is different.

i started mine at 24wks i think because of preterm labor but i was also told that until they are 28wks gestation they can not tell any distress in thier heartrate even if there is one. so I think thats y they like to wait until after 28wks.

My OB is having me start at 28 weeks. I'm diabetic though, & I had them with my first pregnancy too. I think that makes a difference. I'm almost there!! I didn't mind them because they basically left me alone in a room with a recliner & a TV. Sometimes I even fell asleep!

I started at 32 weeks, once a week. By this point I was seeing my dr every week too, otherwise they said I would have had to do them every 3-5 days.

Mine started at 32 weeks because during a level 2 ultrasound they thought that ds's amniotic fluid was a bit low. I didn't mind them, but they were during my normal naptime so I'd literally doze off during them.

My mw said she would start them once a week at 30 weeks. I know she mentioned twice a week if needed later on but not sure when that would be.

1x a week at 32 weeks. At 35 weeks (which will be next week for me) I will also add on an ultrasound per week.

Mine are starting once a week next week which will be 32 weeks. I also see my OB once a week now. U/S are still every 4 weeks, I don't know if that will change.
