When do you start feeding solids three times a day?

Currently, we feed them veggies in the am and oatmeal in the evening...when should we start with lunch??

We were on 3 meals by 6 months! I think whenever you feel comfortable with it, go for it! Just make sure they are still getting plenty of formula or bm.

 

Alot of people do 3 meals at 9 months. My pedi said molly should be at 2.

 

I refer to this website alot regarding how much to feed my babies. It has an age-by-age guide to how much to feed them. Babies at this age still need at least 24 to 32 oz of formula/breastmilk. My babies eat cereal/fruit for breakfast, cereal/veg for lunch and cereal/fruit for dinner. Just about 2 to 3 tbsp total at each meal. Sometimes less.

We started at 7.5, 8 mts. I held off as long as I could. They werent happy with just there lunch bottle not until I gave them food. Seems like all I do is feed them little boys!!

I started 3 meals at 9 mos. per pedi's advice....

 

My babies are still on two meals a day, one morning one late afternoon. I tried to switch to three last week, but their bottle consumption dropped off a TON, so I cut out the third meal. My ped told me I can give them as much as they want as long as they are still eating the same amount of bottles. Once bottle consumption drops off, I need to decrease the amount of solids.
