My offical due date, being 40 weeks is March 15th. Instead of telling people when they ask ...well, it's March 15th but since I am having twins full term is really 36 weeks so the babies will probably be here around Feb 15th, I have started saying my due date is Feburary 15th. What does everyone else do?

We're due January 2, so I usually tell people, "Well, technically, January 2, but since it's twins it's most likely earlier ... ". Either that or I just say, "Around the holidays." Regardless of what I say, I always get the same comment: "Have them in December -- two tax deductions!"

I tell them my actual due date-October 21st and then they say-Oh you'll never make it and tell me when they think I will have the babies! But little do they know a lot of people carry twins to term or pretty close to it!

I guess I always said early August but more than likely (hopefully) late July.

I gave everyone my 40 week due date until we scheduled my c-section, which happens to be at 38 weeks. But, I did tell family/friends that they could always come early.

I am due November 19 and just usually say November or around November 1. My husband and I are hoping and praying they go full-term. 37 weeks for us is October 29.

My official due date is November 26th so I just say Thanksgiving. I want them to stay in for as long as possible so I really don't like to talk about them coming much earlier than mid-November. I do of course explain to close friends and family members that they could come as early as Halloween just so they know.

My 40 week date is January 24th, so I just say, "I'm due in January"

I always say my 40 week due date, November 16. But I will usually add that since I'm having twins it will probably be earlier.

For most of my pregnancy I said my 40-week due date (December 10 -- or was it the 5th? or the 4th?). But when we got closer to the end, I gave the 37-week date, because I knew my OB would induce or schedule the c-section by then.

You can't win either way, because no matter what you say, someone will say "But don't twins usually come early?" So if you gave the 40-week date, you then give them the earlier one -- or if you gave the 37-week date, you have to explain that you already compensated for that.

Well, my docs won't let us go past 38 weeks...so we tell people it's not a "due by" date...more like a "best before" expiration date!

I say, "I am due Christmas Eve, but I will go quite a bit earlier."

If they ask more, I say, "I hope to have them early Dec, but they may come earlier than that since I am a really high risk pregnancy."

It's funny, so many people ask me that I don't offer much anymore. Usually people start out with, "Wow, you're about ready to pop, aren't you?". When I say it's not til December (I kinda love the shock and horror on their faces), they always say, "You're not gonna make it". Then I tell them it's twins and they might come earlier, you can see them have the "ahhh" moment. But I'm only 4'11" so I really look huge. <_<

I have been telling everyone my Due date is December 9th but becasue they are twins I am expecting them in November sometime. Because realistically I need to realize that they are coming in November. People then look at my small belly and then they are like oh my God you are having them in like two months. So yeah I think they need to adjust due dates for multiple births. But either way those little mundhkins have a way of suprising early. Or like my first had to be yanked out at 42 weeks.

I always used my 40-week due date. HOWEVER, it's really of no concern to complete strangers so when they asked I said, "Could be any day now" from about 28 weeks onward. My boys went 39 weeks so my due date wasn't so far off.

"My Official due date is Oct. 28, but anytime in Oct. is good" That is usually what I say. I don't want everyone calling me everyday of Oct. to see if its time yet, so I make sure everyone know it may be mid or even late month. Some doctors won't do c-section until 38 wks.
I know that after Oct. 1 I'll be going nuts, but I don't want everyone calling to check up and see if anything is happening.

I was due 12/9 and that's what I always said (40 weeks). However, I told them I would be induced at 38 weeks at the latest and that's basically what happened.
