My girls are just 3 months and use the bouncers quite frequently even to sleep in for naps. They aren't that fond of the swing though. They also take up soooo much room. Just wondering when in the average time that people quit using these with their twins?

    Thanks!

By the way I am full of ?'s today!

We stopped using the bouncy once the back went down to the floor from them being too heavy. But it was great to have them that reclined while learning how to hold a bottle at the end of 10 months and that was about it. We quit with swing at about 9 months or so...they were never that into them. I just used them to keep them happy for a few minutes at a time.

Ours never slept in the bouncers but would play in them or watch some baby e in them ... up until they were sitting really well ... like 5 1/2 - 6 months.

The swing, they slept in quite a bit until about 4 months old ... then only for some naps for a while ... a month maybe ... then I used it for putting them down for naps by myself (I would rock one and put the other in the swing ... not rock to sleep ... just to drowsy) ... we stopped having to use it around 8 months old and into a closet it went! I really stopped using it b/c our house was on the market and it looked bad in the middle of the nursery floor ... now I just rock one while the other plays in her crib then I lay the first one down then rock the other and lay her down ... we lay them down awake so I am only rocking each for less than 5 minutes.

They were going down great until they started crawling and pulling up so now the one playing in the crib while I rock the other is more sitting up and looking at me and crying in the crib ... so I don't know what my new plan will be ... maybe I will post ...

We got rid of the swings around 5 months when both my girls were sitting forward in them and just not interested anymore.

The bouncy seats I think I held onto until just over 6 months.

they stopped bouncies at 4 months. They suddenly hated them. They still use the swings now but it's getting less and less...I have a feeling not too much longer for those. Oh and they HATE the Bumbos....waste of $$ here!

Funny you should post this cuz I just sold both of my swings and have my bouncer listed NOW on Craigslist. It's as if all of the sudden-- they were OVER them!

They do not want to be in the swing AT ALL but will be in the bouncy for 10 minutes MAYBE..

Gone and now I have space!! LOVE IT!

we stopped using the bouncers when we started using the exersaucer and jumperoo (around 5 months i think) and thats also when we took the swings out because they lost interest in them, although i still use the bouncer to feed them because they lean forward too much in their high chairs

Bouncies around 6 months, and swings around 7-8 months.
