I'll let you know when it happens. DS still does it with everything and he is 2.5 y/o. My dd never does.
Around 15 months for us. It was such a huge change, I had completely forgotten by 18 months that it was ever a problem. Around that time, I had some friends over whose twins were 12 months, and I'd completely gotten out of the habit of keeping small stuff off the floor, so we had to do a quick sweep or else her twins would have chewed on everything! ETA: One of my DDs does still mouth stuff fairly often -- toys and the like. But it was around 15 months that she stopped exploring the world through her mouth, if that makes sense. Now when she mouths things, it's just because it feels good to her. But I know she's not going to eat bugs or sticks or choking-hazard bits of hardware.
My older DS is almost 25 months and he still puts EVERYTHING in his mouth....although I know that isn't always the case.

My girls are 20 months and they still put a lot of stuff in their mouths. I started saying "no mouth" as soon as they would understand so I could start teaching them the okay from the bad.
