when do they settle down

no getting out...kids are pretty good. they just stay up chit-chatting for about an extra hour. when does this pass?

 

Took about a week here.

 

It took my DD about 2 weeks and my DS about 2 days.

 

Took us two months! You mamas are amazing! I still have issues with one, however they also dropped their naps before Christmas and so they are way less likely to chit chat or want to play at bedtime, they're just pooped and sleep all night it's wonderful.

 

Ours did fantastic for about 2 weeks, until Liam realized he had freedom. Then we spent another two weeks battling him. I finally brought out the PNP and set it up, everytime they got out of bed, we put them into the PNP with no suckies, no stuffies, and no blankets or pillows. It only took Rylee 2 nights to figure out this wasn't cool. After about 5 nights Liam finally figured it out too. I did have to bring the PNP out again a couple months later, Liam needed a "reminder" that he had to stay in bed

Now, for the most part, they are great. They'll ocassionally still get up but not too often, and they will still chatter sometimes but it's not every single night.

 

Oh wow! It's been 5 months for us and they still run laps in the room, jump off the beds and chatter for a good 30-60 minutes before falling asleep every night! I just let them go because they eventually fall asleep and nothing I seem to do changes how they act. I wish they went down easier because they haven't been able to stay overnight at my parents since they learned to climb out of the pack n plays. If all they are doing is chit chatting I would be happy with that
