It has been so long since my girls were babies, they are 12 and 14 now. I can't remember when I'm supposed to start offering stuff in a sippy cup. When do I break out the super watered down apple juice? Should I let them have just water?
Thank you for any advice you have!

I've started giving Liam water in a sippy cup so that he can start getting used to the cup. I didn't really give my kids juice until they were about 18 months. My doctor said no juice at our 6 month visit.

I started right around 6 months also. They didn't get the hang of it until about 9 months though!

I started at 6 months and they caught on right away. I have only given them water so far.

Water ONLY...introduced just after six months. We were heading for LA in August and I thought it would be a good time to introduce some water to help keep them hydrated. They sortof get it. Mostly it dribbles out of their mouths but sometimes they can suck it down ok. We use Nubys and they see mto like them alright.

We do water only and started them with the sippy cups about a month ago.

My babies are 7 weeks old and just today my Pediatrician told me to give them 2-3 oz. per day of water. They are gaining weight very quickly and demanding more food. He thinks this will help with the hunger and stop them from overeating.

    WE shall see!
