developing around 24/25 weeks - in utero - but when do they start to "practice breathing"? I think it is around the same time 24/25 weeks. Are their any educated people on this subject out there?

I was told that it is not until 30 weeks, some babies not until 32 plus.

I thought they started practicing around 21 weeks, that is why they hiccup and then you hiccup. That is what I read on the e-mail I get from their development. You could go on WebMD or Parenting on line and look it up.

Around 26 weeks they caught one of mine practicing on U/S, but that was early and they did not necessarily expect to come upon them trying it at just the right time. At that point they sometimes try, but not constantly.
