When did yours reach to be picked up?

    My babies have been reaching for objects for a while, but do not reach to be picked up. Just wondering when some of yours did this?

    my girls are just starting to do that now...and usually only if we say "up! up!" right before hand.

    One of mine started about a month ago, but the other only reaches when he crawls to me and tries to climb up me. The one that reaches can't crawl, yet. Each boy reaches different milestones at different points - it's lovely to witness. :)

    As has been said before, every baby is different and they all reach these things at different points. They're all gifted in their own ways. :)

    Mine only started doing that in the past month or so. Before then they let us know in other ways :)

    Mine started doing the crawling and reaching up at 7 months.

    My girls are about the same age as your babies and they dont do it either. They do get excited when they know we are about to pick them up but they dont raise thier arms. I wouldnt worry about it, I dont think they are supposed to do that for a couple more months.

    My ds just started doing it a couple of weeks ago but dd still doesn't.
