When did yours move from bassinet/co-sleeper in your room to crib in own room?

Ours are still sleeping in the co-sleeper (although its not in the co-sleeper position, using as a bassinet) in our bedroom. We are only getting up once at night to feed them, so I theoretically could move them to their cribs in their own room. I'm hesitant to because I like the peace of mind having them next to me, but on the flip side, DH and I need our room back!

When did you all move them if they stayed in your room in the beginning?

It was at about 2 months, because they exceeded the weight limit on the bassinet. They moved into one crib in our room. At 6 months, 2 separate cribs in our room. And at 8 months, 2 separate cribs in their room. [IMG]

We'll be moving the boys out of our room into their own crib at 6 months. It makes me nervous to even think about it. The only good thing is that my husband will be changing his schedule and might help me get them up in the mornings. Right now he barely rolls over to take one of the boys and feed them. (He is NOT a morning person). I'm hoping the boys will sleep better due to the softness of a mattress and the harness of the cosleeper. They love to sleep in my bed, in my spot, I guess because it's prewarmed. [IMG]

We moved ours quite early . . . 2 weeks. I couldn't sleep with them in the room with me. They made such random noises that I stayed up all night listening to them. I wasn't worried about them and checking on them. I just couldn't sleep. We put them in the same crib until about 2 months when they started waking each other. They have done great with transitions. Good luck!

We moved them at three months, on the dot. That was our goal, since we figured by then they would be sleeping through the night (maybe one early morning feed).

By two months they were in their own crib in their room. Before that one baby slept in my arms and the other on my chest. It was the only way that worked. I like to move in my sleep, so they had to go, they didn't like sleeping in the pack n play. [IMG]

We brought them home and they slept in the bassinet in the livingroom with us for two weeks and than we made the transition to their crib in their room. They were soooo noisy that it was hard to get any sleep and have done very well in their own room in the same crib.

For about 2 months, they slept in their own bassinette in our room (our room is HUGE!). Then we moved them downstairs into the nursery into their own cribs. We have one bedroom up and two down, so that was the only possibility unless we moved down!

After a month in the NICU we brought them home and they slept in our room for a few weeks. Shortly after we moved them they started sleeping through the night shortly after. Why we moved them was due to the fact that DH couldn't sleep with all the little noises they make. Also, we got this great monitor that you can evem hear them breathing; it is great.
