Just curious how long they will eat during the night. I think my DS started taking only one bottle a night at 3 months and STTN at 5 months.

My twins.. um.. about 18 months. :) They were horrible sleepers, but as far as I know, 5 hours is considered sleeping through the night, so I guess off & on, earlier than that. Evan started STTN at about 2 months. He has always been a good sleeper getting up only 3 times a night MAX! Most of the time it has been only 2 times a night at the most. Everyone here has been breastfed.

9.5 months for both of mine. They were 2 months early and I think they ate at night for extra calories. They always drained their bottles.

My guys started SSTN (10-12 hours) at about 2 1/2 months....they still wake once around 4 or 5 like once a week, but i've been blessed with very good sleepers.

our boys went down to one feeding a night about a week ago, kind of out of the blue. that was right as they turned 4 months old, which is 2 1/2 months adjusted. bedtime is around 7:00 and they typically sleep until around 1 or 2 in the morning (last night they made it to 3) and then back down until around 6:00 a.m.

Both slept 6 hours at 2 months, 9-10 hours by 3 1/2 months

DD still sleeps 9-10 hours most nights but usually wakes super early (like 5 am) and then goes back to sleep for another 2-3...DS, well, my sweet DS reverted back to waking 3 times a night for the past month. Not sure if he needs the calories or the cuddling, but I'm trying to go with the flow for now. All BF here, too. GL!

My dd started last week! I still give her a bottle when she is sleeping around 10 if she had 4 bottles during the day..if she had 5 then
I don't.....she goes to sleep around 6 am now until 5:30 or 6...but isn't really hungry until 7 or so... I feed her when the music
goes on the Today show :)

I've been thinking about dropping the asleep bottle...but then I just think she will wake up earlier....

We got the 5 hrs at 5 weeks and 6h at 6 w… hit the 6:30pm-6:00am at 12 w… and at 8 m finally dropped that half hour… now we sleep from 6:45pm-7am but they have the last bottle at 6:00pm… I’m thinking about pushing that back soon so they can eat more dinner, but that’s another post ;)

Older DS at 9m  after i resorted to cio

Just over 7 months old and it hasn't happened yet for either. We're getting some days with 5-6 hour stretches, but at this age they should at a minimum get 6-8 hour stretches.

Still waiting! 4 months old. Looks like we have a ways to go yet! We get at most 4 hours between nursing sessions overnight.

I would say my girls didn't consistently STTN until they were around 8 months old (5 months adjusted). I think a big part of that was that they were so premature that for a long time we HAD to wake them so they could get those extra calories in. Now they are excellent sleepers!

Danika sleeps from 6:30pm - 6:30am with a dreamfeed at 10:30pm. she started that at the end of december. Riley sleeps from 6:30pm - 3:00am with a dreamfeed at 10:30pm. i nurse her at around 3:00am & then she's back down till 6:30am.

They were about 5 months when they went from 7:00pm until 3:00am - I remember it very well b/c I woke up painfully engorged!! It was hit or miss for the next several months. Some nights they would sleep 10 hours, other nights they would sleep 4 hours and wake up to eat. At 9.5 (really close to 10 months, actually) they began consistently STTN.
