I am wondering when they will start to smile, we have seen some partial smiles, but nothing that they can purposefully repeat. I know a lot of the books say 6wks, but we are at 8wks and still nothing repeatable.

When did your twins start to smile? And, did they smile daily after that? We did get a smile or two a few days ago, but nothing since...

Mine started smiling a few weeks ago so around 7weeks. It is still nothing real consistant-they sometimes smile when they see me or if I make silly noises at them...and sometimes they just smile at the ceiling fan. Dont worry it wont be long-

I think mine started between 2 and 3 months old. Now they smile and laugh like crazy. It is sooo much fun!

Not exactly sure when, but I know if was within 2-3 months, before I saw a full on smile. Since then, they are non stop smilers :D

Our oldest was the slowest to smile as she didn't start until after the two month mark but now you can't get her to stop!

My ds smiled this past week, and he's done it a coupleof times since then! So it was around 11 weeks for us. My dd hasn't really done it yet but my babies were 6 weeks early, so that may be a part of it.

They really started around 3 months. Its even better when they start to laugh. I would tickle them all day just to hear it! Its the greatest sound ever!

3 months here too...it seems like it will never happen, then when it does, it is worth the wait! :)

we saw some "maybe" smiles around 5 or 6 weeks (like "was that a smile?"), but official smiles started at 7 to 8 weeks. (My singleton DD had her first smile at 4 wks).

Probably 8 or 9 weeks for the first, real reactive smiles...
