I am just curious as to when I should be expecting one of my bubs to drop a nap?

I am pretty bad at the schedule thing. lol.

    TIA

5 months. They'd been fighting it for weeks. They had about three days when they were overtired in the evenings, but then they started sleeping great, and now they STTN at almost 6months.

6months. They were taking 30min naps so I dropped down to 2 and their naps got longer. They were cranky in the evenings for about a week but it wasnt too bad.

Probably around 7/7.5 months. Nicholas one day decided to boycott it all together. Anthony was still going down fine-so I let him. After about a week, I noticed Anthony could go without the third nap-so I dropped his as well. One of the two naps is generally longer(N slept from 9-12 the other day!). Sometimes it's hit or miss-but they generally go down really well at bedtime(7pm).

8 months or so, but somedays I swear they'd take a 3rd one still! Tonight they only lasted 2 hours after their afternoon nap and headed ni-night!!!

It was around 8 months for us too. I noticed they were shortening it, so we ditched it. It was an adjustment for a while in the afternoon because they were more cranky while getting used to the new schedule, but it evened out.

We just dropped ours at 8 months and it was tough at first but got better. Now they take 2 longer naps and seem to do pretty well with that. GL

About 7.5 months -- it had become a short catnap anyway, and we were having trouble fitting it in....life was a lot better after we dropped it!

    Hi!

We were about 7 months adjusted when they started refusing that nap....so why fight 'em, join 'em!

Like pp said, they were overtired and cranky for about a week!

I think it was around 5 months, maybe sooner. They now take an hour nap in the a.m. and a good 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon.

Mine didn't drop the 3rd nap until 8 months. I always went by the no more than 2 hours awake at a time and gradually starting increasing in 15 minute incriments (just because they weren't tired yet).

8 months here too. Some days though they do get a third nap but it is rare.
