When did your terrible 2's start?

Hey everyone
I used to be around alot more on the bfeeding forum and the 1st year forum and then things got busier.
So the title says it all.....my girls are 19.5 and I'm afraid it's happening already! YIKES! We recently went a cruise for a week and came home to super winy, criers! And screamers HOLY COW. They also through temper tantrums when they don't get their ways. Over the littlest things. Could this just be phase? They have all their molars, and could someone please tell me other terrible 2 symptoms? Thanks everyone....I miss my sweeter girls. :wacko:

 

I think it starts earlier and earlier. Mine are almost 19 months and I think they are starting to hit it too. They are starting to try and bite me when I tell them no and starting to throw temper tantrums, and definitely don't like it when they don't get their way. Ugh!

 

My girls are 15 months and I think we are there also. Some days are better then others but I definitely feel like its the terrible twos. My MIL comments every time she spends time with them that they act like two yr olds. I was hoping to keep the terrible twos at bay for a few more months.

 

My ds is 17 months old and we are DEFINATLY there already!!!!!!

Yep, I'd say 19 months is when they started getting attitudes.

 

Hate to break the bad news...mine started at 18 months...actually started getting a little better at 2

 

18 to 24 months was hard! The 2's are tough too!! Hang in there!

 

Terrible Two's is not accurate because my sons have started it within the last month, they're going to be 17 months on the 6th, and with my older 2 it lasted until they were 4. Boy were all in trouble!

 

I think we're late bloomers - our two's were great. We're having the terrible three's!

My boys started throwing little tantrums between 18 mos. - 2 years. I was absolutely dreading the terrible two's. They are actually better now than they were at that age...they throw little fits here and there but they are very easily distracted and never throw big tantrums. Don't fret, it may not get worse!
