When did your refluxer stop spitting up so much??

I know this has been asked before but I was just curious when your refluxers stopped spitting up?! My DD spews like a fountain still and she'll be 9 months Monday. I was just wondering if this is the norm for some. She's on prevacid. My other DD stopped about 2 months ago...or at least slowed down a WHOLE lot. So were/are there any acid reflux babies that spit up or still spit up a lot? Just curious before we talk to the doc next week. Thanks!

Still spitting-up. Mostly because of gagging herself.

 

My son stopped at one (when they told me he would).

 

DS still does about once a day. DD stopped about 2-3 months ago.

 

Both of my guys are finally starting to ease up now. They are still on Zantac twice a day though... soon we will be weaning them off it I think.

 

It probably varies for each baby. My girls' GI told us the spitting up would subside when they started sitting up more often and that was exactly when they stopped. I hope it stops soon for you!

 

Ours greatly improved at about 4.5 months old and we took them off the meds at that time.
