You can put more than one baby in! My mom is always BRAGGING about my little boy. I'd love to hear what the average is for the first smiles for your babies! I'm curious!!

Evan First smiled officially at 7 weeks but at 6 weeks he was giving me some pleasant 'smirky' faces... just no open mouthed smiles yet. So, I consider his smile at 7 week his first. You?

First it was Jr that gave a real smile around 3 mos, Sierra was shortly behind.

Mine were late smilers - it wasn't until around 12-13 weeks that they actually started real smiles.

We got the first real smile from Kevan at 11 weeks -- I remember it vividly, because it was right after we brought him home from the hospital post-surgery. He must have been so glad to be home!

Karina was a few weeks earlier, but I can't remember exactly when...

And, Nadia started smiling at 5 weeks -- I managed to capture a really funny one on camera.

It was April 16 for both my girls. They were 3.5 months old, but were 9.5 weeks early. I guess that means it was about 6-7 weeks adjusted age. Ugh! It's too early for math.

I voted other because of the adjusted age thing.

The REAL smile where their whole face lit up and they were really smiling at me was around 8 weeks.

I don't remember exactly -- I said 10 weeks, because I think it was something just under 3 months. I remember thinking that it was later than many moms said their babies smiled. We saw things that looked like smiles before that, but they never seemed related to anything we did, so I didn't consider them real social smiles.

Real smiles were between 7-8wks. I voted 8wks because thats what the blog said. :D
