I'm almost 28 weeks and both Baby A and Baby B are currently breech.

I know they still move around a bit and was just wondering when and if your baby(ies) turned.

My doctor wants to attempt a vaginal birth as long as Baby A is head down.

I'm really nervous about going through labor and one vaginal birth only to have a csection with the other.

While a csection also scares me I think the possibilites of doing it both ways is scarier.

I know what your going though is a concern of many mom's here on the forum. I have weighed the possibilites many times in my head even though I am only half way and so much can happen until then. I just know my doctor told me they do not attempt to turn twin pregnancies, because there is too many arms legs and cords to get in the way. So your babies will ultimately make the decision. =) Good luck mom and hopefully there are other mom's out there that can share their experience with you. Cheers Julia

My Baby A turned head down around 32 weeks. B recently flipped head up one day and two days later head down. It is amazing what they can do even this late (i am 34 weeks)

A friend of mine, her son went from breech to head down two days before he was born, so anytime is possible. My DD was baby A and breech and she never turned at all (and still is stubborn at 18 months!)

My boys were transverse until about 24 weeks and baby a turned vertex literally during my ultrasound where he has stayed since. Baby b is still being stubborn and is breech now, but as long as a stays head down, they feel confident they can turn b after a is born. Anything can happen, good luck!

My Baby A was breech 2 weeks ago and at my check yesterday (almost 31 weeks) had flipped back to head-down. B is transverse.

Baby A turned vertex at 35 weeks and stayed that way. He was back and forth up till that point. Baby B had been vertex the whole time and went breech at 38 weeks (stinker). Both delivered vaginal.

My baby A was head down pretty much the whole time - but my OB still wanted to do a c-section because b was breech. But she did flip around 36 weeks to head down - so we went with an induction. I was scared that I was going to have to do both a vaginal delivery for a and a c-section for b. B did wind up spinning around again after A was delivered but they delivered her breech (feet first). I had pretty much given up hope of B flipping around and then she surprised me at the last minute - so good luck!

My baby A turned head down sometime btwn week 32 and 34 and at 34 baby B was still breech. At 37w3d both were head down and stayed that way (I delivered later that day). I was shocked as I didn't think there was room in there for a flip but I also know when baby B flipped because I remember the movement and thinking it felt like she did a roll in there.

    Good luck with everything!

i was 28 weeks when baby a turned from breech to head down. as far as having one vaginal birth and one c-section, the odds are really low...6-7% chance. so try not to worry too much about that possibility.

Both of my babies kept turning and flipping up until around 33 or 34 weeks. In the end, they were both breech but I had to have a c/s anyway because my first child was born c/s and here most hospitals won't allow a vbac anymore.

Like the pp said, your babies will decide, try not to worry too much about it. I was really scared to have an emergency c/s w/my first pregnancy but I looked at it this way....at least they have perfectly round little heads and I didn't have to deal with any "tearing" down there. :)

    Good luck with everything!
