When did your babies move to a 10 oclock and 2 oclock nap?

I think my babies are ready for a 10 and 2 nap schedule because it takes them while to fall asleep...I dunno..maybe they are just having too much fun jumping in their cribs and giggling at each other (so wish I had the extra room to separate them...oh well). Same for at night...I'd put them to bed at 6:45pm and they usually went right to sleep, now they babble and jabber till about 7:30.

They seem like they want to stay up for longer periods and wondering if this is about the age when they do that.

What are other 10-12 month'er's doing

    Current routine:

    Bedtime 6:45pm-ish
    Wake at 6:30ish
    1st nap 9:30pm till 10:30, sometimes 11am
    2nd nap 1:30pm till 3:30, sometimes till 4pm

We work on a 7 to 7 schedule. I had them taking naps at 9am and again at 1pm but they only slept for an hour and were mister cranky pants by 5pm so I switched it to 1 nap at 11am and they sleep for 2-2 1/2 hours and are happy little booger butts until bedtime. It works better for me this way because it gives me more time to get things done or take a nap myself!

My Girls are 10 1/2 mo. old. wake-up 7-7:30, 1st nap 10-10:30, 2nd nap 10-10:30, bedtime 8-8:30. They usually nap 1-2 hours. They are also taking longer to fall asleep. They sleep together in the same crib.

We have a very odd schedule but it's because my kids sleep later and this schedule lets them go down with my just turned 2 yo so we go with it.

wake-up: usually 9 to 9:30 (sometimes 8:30 but that's somewhat early for them)

mini-nap: anywhere between 12 and 1 and only for about 20 minutes in teh car while we are home fro running errands (my dd has actually started not doing this at all so she is usually down to just 1 nap with no mini-nap)

    Actual nap: 3 to 5 or 5:30

    bedtime around 8:30 to 9

the mini nap is basically just enough to get them to the real nap at 3 when all three go down and it's a slice of heaven for mom (most days heehee).

My boys are just over 10 months and they wake up between 6:30-7 am (usually closer to 7). First nap is between 9-9:30 and they usually sleep until 10:30 or 11. Second nap is between 1:30 and 2, and one usually sleeps about an hour and the other about 1 1/2 hours. Then they go to bed between 7-7:30, but generally closer to 7. They still go to sleep pretty quickly for naps and at bedtime for now.

We are on a 2-3-4 schedule: they go down for their first nap 2 hours after waking up (they are usually up at around 7-7:30am), then down for their second nap 3 hours after waking up from their first nap (so that means the aft nap is usually at around 1:30-2pm - sometimes I put them down bit before 3 hours has passed if they are exhibiting tired cues) and then go to bed 4 hours after waking up from their afternoon nap. So that means they are in bed at around 8pm. They sleep anywhere from 1-1.5 hours in the morning and 1.5-3 hours in the afternoon (Viv tends to sleep longer than Ava). Most of the time they go down for naps/bed without fussing so this schedule seems to work well for them.

Though I don't know if you need to worry about your LOs sleeping schedule too much because if they aren't fussing and keep themselves entertained then it's all good!!

My girls wake at 8, nap at 930, nap again at 2 and then are in bed at 7. We were at 3 naps until 10.5 months :)
