I am almost 31 weeks (tomorrow) and I am still hungry all the time! When did your appetite start to slow down? I can eat a normal meal and then two hours later I'm starving. I eat healthy and balanced meals that should fill me up. My friend is also expecting twins and she is 26 weeks and hers has already slowed down a lot. Am I just weird or what?? I'm not worried about it just curious.

You aren't weird; everybody carries differently. Mine are both breech and I swear their heads are pushing on my stomach. My appetite has decreased in the past couple of weeks. If your babies are low, or if someone has their head down in your pelvis, you might have more room for food.

i don't personally know if it's different with twins, but i was always starving throughout my previous pregnancies. i would imagine that soon you won't be as hungry because it will get cramped. i am sure i will stay hungry. i am an oinker when pg.

I'm still eating pretty frequently - though I don't have those "starving feelings" too much - I'm definitely eating still. :)

Mine slowed down at about 24 weeks. I am waiting for when it picks up again. I notice i am eating smaller portions more often though

i have days when i just can't eat what i have on my plate, and other days when i eat and eat and still don't feel full....

i think as long as you feel comfortable and your dr is ok with your weight, you should be fine....

My appetite has definitely not decreased at anytime during this pregnancy. I eat ALL THE TIME! I suppose that explains the 65 lbs I've put on! Whoops!

Anyhow, the only problem I've had lately is heartburn and eating too much at night. And that's only been within the last 3 weeks or so.

I definitely don't think you are weird!

Thanks! I've gained 39 pounds so far (eek!) but I have polyhydramnios aka too much fluid in baby A's sac.

Hey girl! You have to remember your little girl is probably still head down in your pelvis right. Well that will give you more room. I have noticed over the past three days that I'm not able to eat as much in one sitting, but I certainly make up for it by eating non-stop during the rest of the day! I am thinking it's just a temporary thing and as soon as on of them moves I will be able to eat a bit more!

She is all over the place! She has a lot more room than her brother so she has a lot more freedom. Poor little guy is smooshed in my ribs.

Mine never really did. I was eating 6 times a day from the day my period was due, and still doing it the day before I delivered! I did have to eat smaller amounts at a time in the third tri, but I was constantly hungry.

I was never able to eat a full meal after 20 weeks... and it really slowed down at about 32-33 weeks. I did not want to eat at all, and started on high calorie drinks.

I eat often, but never have the "feed me now or I will kill you!"
    Btw, when does that start?
