Just trying to find some comparison. It's hard when you can't compare to a full term sibling as to when things might happen. Mine are 5.5 months old (4 months adjusted) and are up on their side but haven't rolled over yet. I think they are too busy jabbering! Just wondering when your babies born at 33 or 34 weeks rolled over.
    Thanks, Allison

One of my 34 weekers rolled over from tummy to back at 4 months actual age. But then she didn't do it again for a few months! The other one was in casts for clubbed feet for a long time and didn't roll over until about 8 months actual age.

my girls were born at 33.5 weeks....they both rolled from tummy to back when they were 5 months old, but didn't do anything again for awhile....now they are 6.5 months and one rolls all the time over and over and over and the other one rolls from back to tummy all the time but has not figured out how to keep rolling. I find them on their tummies every time after naptime and in the morning.

Mine were a bit earlier than yours, but my DD rolled first from tummy to back at 4 months actual, but only once. She didn't do it consitently until 6 months actual. My DS didn't roll at all until 6 months actual.

It is hard to compare preemie twins to their singleton older sibling. I'm having a hard time doing that now with mine. I always think well Caroline did it at this age, but she was a full term baby and did everything very early.

Ben rolled around 6 mos., but did not do it regularly until closer to 7-8 months.

Hannah, no joke, never really did roll over. At 11 mos, we had her evaluated for physical therapy and she qualified. She started crawling before her first appt. She learned how to sit up, from a laying position on her back. Then she would just get into a crawling position. Talk about abs of steel. And if she was already on her tummy, she would just start to crawl.

Once she learned how to crawl, she was able to roll. But she rarely did it. So when did my 34 weeker learn to roll? Never, really!!!!! And she is a happily adjusted, bright, agile, soon-to-be two year old!!!!!
