If you do use a blanket to cover your baby in the crib? Do they even keep them on or does the blanket get kicked off. We use sleep sacks at night with a thinner pj underneath but now they are dressed with a terry cloth outfit so the sleep sack would be too warm. I just put them down with a blanket over them so I will see what happens. I would not do it at night so I thought I could try it for a nap since I can continue to peek in there to see where the banket is.

MOst of all I was just curious!

We just tuck them in when we use the blanket and for the most part it stays put! Occasionally they will kick it off.

Mine are almost 2 and still won't keep a small blanket over them in their cribs.....

I had them in there around 10-11 mos. I think....

I have always used blankets in the crib, even right after they came home. My DD's came home on apnea monitors so I had an extra advantage of knowing they would be fine throughout the nite. Now that they are no longer on them, we still use blankets. For the most part, they do stay on most of the nite but sometimes, they do get kicked off. We use the thermal blankets in the cribs.

I've been using a blanket with them since they came home. My DS cannot fall asleep without one.

i know they say not to, but we always have since the beginning. sometimes they kick it off, but they are safe. i think they are used to it now. i think i will be more concerned when they start rolling over and can get tangled in it.

We also have used blankets since they came home. They sleep in footey sleepers and then have their fuzzy blankets that they love. They really can't sleep without a blanket now.

We have always used blankets from day one with our DS and our twins. I didn't know that some people didn't use blankets with young infants when I had my DS. I just had never heard not to use them until a friend said she never used them but by that time my DS was almost a year old. My babies sleep very still in the crib and very rarely kick their blankets off. My son was the same way.
