When did you stop using bouncy seats?

LO's are 7.5 months old and finally starting to sit up. When did you stop using the bouncy seats? They are really into the exersaucer & jumper we have now, less interested in the boucny seats, looking to get rid of some clutter! Thanks!

 

With the twins, I used them longer, as I gave them their bottles in them. LOL! But, it's safe to say you can get rid of them now. I remember my boys butts were touching the ground when they were sitting in them! But Annabella hasn't been in hers probably since she started sitting up-and I stopped being able to trust her in it. No later than six months for her probably.

Go ahead-get rid of the clutter! I still need to do that-and she's nine months old!

 

As soon as mine could sit up at 7 months, they hated the bouncy seat and anything else that reclined. We got rid of the bouncy seat at that time.

 

It was around Christmas. They just got too big for them. They are almost 8 months old now, so around 5 months or so.

 

I had to stop around 6 months. The boys were trying to sit up in the seats and I was worried they were going to flip them.

 

when my ds kinda flipped over and started climbing out the top! I can't remember the age... but there wasn't a 5 point harness so I couldn't keep using it! probably around that 6mo age... if you have other ways to entertain them, then get rid of them!
