my girls are now 7 months, I used to put diapers till now. I tried to put them in cloth nappies, but they urinate frequently and keep catching cold, so i switched back to diapers.I want to know if you used diapers when did you stopped to put them?
and tell me if it was difficult to train diaper babies for potty.....

I would say 7 months is still too young for potty training. We do have a potty training sub-forum here on TS, Im sure those women could help you.

oh! you got me wrong... i didn't mean to train them so soon.....
yes i know it is too early to think about potty training... what i want to know is that if i keep putting diapers to my babies, will they take more time in potty training?

I'm wondering if there is a language barrier issue here. Maybe we aren't sure what you are asking. Are you wanting to know about the length of time it takes for potty training if you use disposable diapers versus cloth diapers (nappies)?

I am thinking she wants to use cloth diapers and generally cloth babies train faster.

Many use cloth right from the beginning with babies however most use disposable and never move to cloth.

We recently moved to cloth and I LOVE IT!

My DS always used disposable diapers and he was completely potty trained at 2.5 years old. We did start using cotton training pants about a month before that and it helped him learn when he was wet/dirty. Good luck!

My DD was in disposable diapers, but she started getting potty training at 15 months. basically because she hated doing potty in diaper. She had her cues, and would let me know that it was time to take her to the toilet seat. She graduated to peeing in the toilet by 2 years. I never really pushed her to get potty trained, it was something she wanted to do by herself.
So I dont think, cloth or disposable diapers make a difference. Just watch out for cues and signs and you'll know your babies are ready. Plus cloth nappies are too much work for me.

    I hope that helps

Not sure what you mean by "putting" diapers...

We use mostly cloth with the twins, some disposables - always at night because I think they are more absorbent and sometimes during the day if I haven't managed to do the laundry yet  ...we didn't use them with my oldest so I'm not speaking from experience - but I think the reason that cloth babies are trained earlier is that the parents are more motivated to train them - as in sick of doing the laundry!! Disposables are so easy, easier than potty training. I dreaded the idea of PT my oldest and we did put it off longer than we should have. But if I understand your question correctly - are you asking if using disposables will make it harder to PT the kids? I don't think it makes a difference for the kids learning, I think the difference is how motivated the parents are.
