When did you start to show?

I woke up yesterday afternoon (I worked mids the night before) and noticed an extreme difference in the size of my abdomin. When I went back to work last night, it was as if my stomach got larger through the shift. Other people actually noticed.

I haven't really popped with the big ole bowling ball look yet. But I do look enough pregnant now that people would stop and look and think..."Is she fat or pregnant?" :lol:

I never really showed much with my other 3 singleton pregnancies until close to 20 weeks, if not 20 right on the nose. Those times, it was overnight as well. One day my pants fit, the next not within a few inches.

So I was curious, when did other pregnant or past pregnant mommies of twins start to show?

I did IVF and got asked when my baby was due before I even found out I was pregnant - I hyperstimuated. LOL

Anyways, my pants never did fit from the time I finished IVF becauase of it, but I would have to say if that wasn't an issue, I definitely was showing at about 10 weeks, and couldn't really hide it past 14 weeks. Also, we always noticed I was much larger at then end of the day than the beginning. I'm only 5'1 too, so height probably plays a factor of when you start to show...

I think I started showing as soon as I conceived, lol. I definately had a very distinct bump by 12 weeks and it only got bigger. My waist measures 49 inches around now.

 

I was showing to me around 15 weeks, but I squeezed into my clothes until 19 weeks anyway. I dind't know I was having twins until almost 21 weeks, and refused to wear maternity until 20 weeks, but just couldn't do it. with my singletons I never had to wear maternity until about 22 weeks or so.

I agree with JASB, i think i started showing at the moment of conception. I was in maternity pants by 10 weeks because my loose pants were too tight. Yesterday my mom told me I looked like I was almost full term. And I weigh 8 pounds less than i did when I got pregnant, go figure.

 

I did not really show until about 20 weeks. Even then I went to maternity tops only, but still was wearing my regular bottoms, for a couple more weeks.

 

I was about 12 weeks. I always got the comment "Oh, my your belly is soooo big!". Lovingly from friends & co-workers. Congrats & good luck.

 

I started showing at 12 weeks. Now there is no mistaking I'm pregnant. I feel really big and uncomfortable. At 6 months people would always say you don't look like your having twins. Now noone ever says that anymore.

My pants were too snug to button by about 8 weeks, and by 12 weeks I was fully in maternity clothes!

I did IVF also and I got asked when my baby was due at 6 weeks and
a few days for the first time!!! by 9 weeks I was in maternity
clothes! CONGRATULATIONS on your babies!! twin pregnancy is the most
AMAZING thing ever!!!!!!
