When did you start NST

    Hi, my name is Michelle, I've been lurking a bit before and intro'd myself in the intro thread in my due date club but this is my first official thread :p I am so glad I found this place! We already have two dd's, one is about to turn 11 and one is about to turn 1 year, yeah I know, I am going to be officially insane once the twins arrive LOL! I just try to think of it as having triplets LOL! ;) Although being preggo with such a young one and working F/T has been hard so far. Ok enough about me heehee.


    I have an OB appintment next Tuesday and they already want to start doing non stress tests...from everything I've read on the internet they don't usually start doing this until later? I'm only 22 weeks and have no complications so far other than the usual aches and pains and swelling LOL! So when did you start doing them?

    I have my first one next week, I will be one day shy of 33wks.

    Hmmmm maybe they made a mistake then...or maybe I'm just that big that they forgot I'm only 22 weeks! LOL. Makes me wonder and that's not a good thing for us mommas! :unsure:

    32 weeks when they start NST in our office
    but if you have contractions they do it earlier.

    I start tomorrow, I will be one day shy of 33 weeks. No idea why they would want you start them so soon....

    I will be doing 2 sets of NST's next week on 2 different days, I think Monday and Thursday. Dont know why. And Im 34wks

    It was 33 weeks for me. I would call your doctor and ask before your appt. See why so early! Good Luck

    Hmmm so weird, maybe I will give them a call, it would save all of us time if it was an error. They probably thought I would be 33 weeks by then instead of 23. Thanks ladies! I really love this place! I am so full of questions on everything but I'll space them out a bit over time so I don't crash the site LOL!
