I think it was 8 months 2 weeks we introduced lunch and then a snack (yogurt) when they wake from their nap at 3:30.

Our pedi told us to introduce when we went in for our 9 month appt. I started small - a handful of Cheerios, a bit of cheese or splitting a stage 1 container.

Our pedi is one to start solids at 4 months, so at our 6 month appt. we were told to start meal #3. I felt my girls' appetites weren't big enough yet, so I started later in that month.

My ped. suggested decreasing the midday bottles and add lunch. He said they should be getting between 16-24 oz. a day. Mine have done fine with lunch. This is our current schedule

    7:00 wake
    7:15 bottle
    8:30 breakfast
    9:15 nap
    11:30 lunch
    1:30 bottle
    2:00 nap
    5:00 dinner
    7:15 bottle

Hope this helps! Mine have done great with this schedule!

We just started 3 meals here. It varies by day though. I'm making sure they are getting all their formula first and then play the rest of the day by ear.

We started 3 meals a day at 9 months. I decreased the lunchtime bottle and added solids.

If I decrease the lunchtime bottle, to what amount? Right now they get 4 6oz bottles. 7am, 11, 3, 6:30.

I skipped the 3:00 all together. I did 7, 12, and 7. I moved the 11 to 12 because they were not drinking all of their 11.

I decreased it to 3 oz. Normally they get 6 oz. I will soon drop that bottle altogether, probably this week!!

I'd say it was at 10 months.
