I know it says when they are crawling, does crawling backwards count as crawling… I know they have the hand eye coordination… Nathan I think will never crawl… seriously, I think he will be one of those sitting up to pull-up to walk… he just could care less about being mobile… but has been sitting up perfect for a LONG time now.. Month and half maybe… so when did you introduce puffs?

At 7.5 months. They were not doing a normal crawl, in fact they still don't. Baby B does an army crawl, baby H does a frog hop. I just broke them in half in the beginning, and watched them very carefully.

It was different for all my kids. My first two were later, about 8 months, even though they were my earliest crawlers/walkers. (Ds walked at 10 mon ths old)

My twins seemed more hungry ealrier so they got things like puffs earlier even though they didn't crawl until about 10 months. I think it is really about head and neck control more than crawling.

Mine were 8 months and not even close to crawling. They didn't crawl until 10 and 12 months.

Mine were 7 months, neither one was crawling or showed any sign of it. They both sat well on their own

We started at 8 months but they gagged, so tried again short of 9 months and it's better. They're nowhere near ready to put them in their mouth though.

We did at 7 months. They didn't really care for them. At 8 months we introduced crackers and they loved them!

It is interesting to me as older DS was… and was RUNNING… yes not walking, but running at 10m… but I soooo don’t want to go through THAT again… much less w/ TWO… so they can take as long as they want… my niece was almost 18m… she just didn’t care to try…

Thank you ladies… they seem ready I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t gonna do much damage... i dont know if they had puffs when older ds was a baby… I’ll cut them in half and give it a whirl

Very early, at 5-6 months or so. They couldn't sit up by themselves, they couldn't crawl but they loved them. At 6 months they started eating pieces of bread. All 3 of them were very fast on the food / eating side.

We introduced puffs at 6 months and they did not know what to do with them at first, but we figured at least they could play with them and get a little used to the texture and what not. By 8 months, they were eating puffs and cheerios like champs! Neither of my kids were crawling when we introduced puffs. DD crawled at 8 months and DS at 10 months.

I tried for the first time last night - almost 8 months. I broke them in half. DS did fine, but DD started gagging so bad she threw up a little bit of her supper. I felt so bad. Guess I'd better wait a bit longer.

Payton was already eating puffs at the age my twins are at now, but they are not ready. (BTW, they aren't even sitting up. Every baby is so different...)

We introduced them about 8 months. I took them awhile to figure out how to pick them up and get them to their mouths. We started with half of puff too.

I offered them about 2wks ago when they were in their Bumbo's only. Keira loves them and Finley just plays w them on her tray. They are so soft that I think they just melt in the mouth.

My 2yo is now back to wanting them too, he wants the baby stars whenever his sisters have them....
