When did you have to go to 2-piece PJs?

I understand why a child can't be in sleepers while doing night training, but how does that relate to their progress with PT overall? As I just posted to Kelly, mine really have no clue about holding it or knowing when they have to go (even though they like to sit on the potty), so I don't think they'll even be day trained for awhile yet. Am I safe buying one-piece sleepers to get us through the next several months?

I would say you are safe. Blake sat on a potty for 7 months before we officially started the training. I think you have a coupole of months.

Alden, that's a good thought. I didn't think of that! I just went to Children's Place and got fleecey PJ's (3t, WAYYYYYYYY to big!) for winter, but have some of the two piece stuff for winter but it's not footed, so that's hard. My guys won't leave their covers on and now that they are out of their cribs, I can't put my space heater in there....

Well, I had to ditch all of our perfectly good two piece pajamas because of the whole undressing themselves issue. I would say you should be safe with one piece pajamas. You can put them on the potty before bed and when they wake up, and that should cover your bases, I think. I doubt they will be ready to get up in the middle of the night to go potty for a while.

The only winter we really couldn't do 1 piece was the winter when mine were 3. Last year they got back into the 1 piece--Marc was actually still wearing a pull up to bed then anyway. This year at 5, their favorite pjs are the one piece ones.
