When did you have the nursery ready?

    I can't remember when I did the nursery. When did / do you plan on having the nursery ready?

    I didn't officially have their room ready till a month after they were born. :D

    Our nursery was completely finished by the time I was 32 weeks. That was after my baby shower and before I got too uncomfortable to stand up or walk around too much. Oh and because the doctor said I would definately deliver by 34/36 weeks. :)

    I was planning on just doing it up after they were born - but everyone said I'd be too tired afterwards and to get it done before...
    I took their advise and got it done right around the 32-33 week mark. that's probably pushing it for many of you ladies - but as you can see - it has been like 4 more weeks and I'm still carrying the girls! Although I don't have the energy to have done it now - so my time line worked for me :)
    good luck! It's fun to walk into and see it all "done up".

    We finished in February and they were born in July. Just before they were born I washed all the clothes and put them away. The painting and furniture and such was done in February though!

    My nursery has been done since about 28 weeks. I am 31 weeks right now. Everything is ready to go incase of an early arrival.

    I had most of it done by 30 weeks. I was still washing and putting stuff away at 35 weeks though. I say get it done early because you don't know when you will go!

    I had mine done mid-August and they were born 9/1. I wished I had it organized earlier.

    Mine is just coming together and I really wished it was done sooner. I am so big and unwieldy that it's hard to move around. I wanted to get it just right and now I have to point and hope DH is paying attention!

    We have a nursery, but our 17 month old is in it still! The twins won't have their own room (will be with us) for at least 4 to 6 months after they are born.

    I think they were about 8 months old, LOL. They slept in our room until then anyway, so it didn't matter much.
